To make a long story short, ive failed quit a few tests this school year. I really study hard for them & still cant seem to pass them. Ive always made good grades in school, but this year is different. Nothing seems to be going right in my life right now.
Today when i called my mom to tell her i was on my way home from school, the first thing she asked was if i passed my two tests, and i told her i didnt, and she hung up on me, so i called her back and asked her why she did, and she told me i was not trying hard enough in school, not to call her back again.
I feel like all my parents care about is me making good grades, I know they want the best 4 me & good grades are important, but i feel sooo pressured it isnt even funny, Ive consider suicide ALOT lately. They are driving me insane. They make me feel dumb and worthless. They never encourage me.I havnt been eating, and ive been cutting my self lately.Dont get me wrong, I love my parents. We never used to argue.......=[

Ive told my parents about me cutting. They just shrugged it off, and said that i was stupid and pathetic & crazy.

Im so sick of arguing with them. Sometimes i think i would rather them hit me then say some of the things they say.

Im sick of crying myself to sleep @ night.

& by the way, my school doesnt have a school counselor. I live in a small town, where everyone knows everyone.

First of all, if you're even entertaining the mere *thought* of suicide, please get help. Go to your guidance councelor at school and explain your feelings. They are there to help you, and to direct you to individuals who can offer counceling for the entire family, and your conversations are strictly confidential. Talk to your parents. Tell them how you feel. Approach them calmly, ask them to sit down, let them know you need to talk, and ask them not to interupt you. Your parents driving you nuts because they're on your case about your grades, is no reason to end your life. You just need to communicate with them. It's hard to bring it up, I know. I was a teenager once, and now I'm a parent with a teeanger. Please talk to someone, ask your parents to consider family counceling. You have an entire lifetime of promise and fullfillment ahead of you, please don't throw it all away.

When you venture in to cutting, though it seems like you're doing it to get back at your parents, .. you're really the only one you are hurting. Literally. Please stop the cutting. It's dangerous, it's a malicious thing to do to yourself, and you could suffer severe infections, which could lead to other external and internal problems.

If you're struggling in your classes, and failing grades on tests are the result; ask your teachers for help. Let them know you're not "getting it". Don't be embarassed to ask for help, that's what your teachers are there for. Try to get a group of friends to form a study group. It's a great way to question problems, bounce ideas around and understand things from different perspective. It's not "geeky" to study with friends, in fact, it's quite helpful and wise. But first, start with talking to your teachers, let them find help for you or suggest ways to improve your method of studying.

Seek help through your school councelor, it's your best route to intitiate recovery.

I'll send healing prayers your way.

Pretty girl and ro. Both of you please show your parents this question and answer. It is hard enough to go through everything a kid does today without putting up with parents so self absorbed that they are hurting you too. Their "busy" days can come to an end and they can "take" the time to help you even if they have to stay awake for a week or two to make it up. The parent is the "responsible party" and apparently yours want to push that onto you. If the rents don't come thru within two days, show this all to the school counselor.

I know how it feels like being in your positon, since i've gone through your stage sumtimes...but however i realised my mistake...
Firstly remember whatever happens, never hurt urself in any ways as that wont help u neither ur family.Nowdays being pressurised by ur family is a common thing in life so dont take it to ur heart. To relieve urself from depression try meditation as it is a gr8 healer...i've tried it myself and got good result. That will even help u to concentrate on ur studies and keep u calm and cool...the most important requirement for a good result. It will also help u build confidence in urself(never loose ur self confidence as that will affect u in many ways...believe me). After muggin up anythin try practise writin it down,it will help u to memorise it well.Try discussing ur problems with ur family frankly and convince them about it.How tough they may be from the outside, afterall even they are ur parents and they'll understand ur problems. And if u try my success formula for a few days i'm betting that u'll be getting astonishing results very soon...

You need more help than your parents can give you even if they tried. Go to a counselor at school and tell them the whole story. Make sure you tell them you are cutting yourself.
