Bichon's are hypo-allergenic which means that you cant be allergic to them.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not dog hair that people are allergic to. It is the dander from their skin. So getting a breed that doesn't shed (like a poodle) will not help, as shed-less breeds still have dander. Their aren't any "allergy-free" dogs out there. ALL dogs have dander - it's part of the skin.

My mother in law who has dog allergies swears by her cockapoo and poodle. She has never so much as sneezed with them, but she's miserable at my house because of my lab. Good Luck

chihuahua, and poodle because of their lack of dander and lack of shedding. As a child one of my many allergies was allergic to any anamial with fur. so i had lizards, turtles, a caymen. when i wanted a dog , my allergist told my parents the best wrer these 2 breeds

Bichon frises do not shed or produce the allegens that most people are allergic to!!!! They are wonderful dogs!

anything short hair and or hairless but little fluff balls are the worst!
