So there is this guy at my school I like. He doesn't really hang around black ppl but I figure that maybe he just doesn't have anything in common with them. I personally have friends of many different types of races, but idk how he would react if he found out I liked him. Another problem is that I liked a friend of his last year (also white) and it didn't turn out so well bc he picked this other girl over me. They aren't close friends or anything but they still talk. And with me having liked them both could cause some serious school problems for me with ppl talking and stuff. I really like this guy, but I'm so confused. Help!!!!

My opinion is so what? If you like him you like him.. Skin color makes no difference at all. Just be friends with him, and if he likes you.....You'll know. If he doesn't and it's because of race, then he is a ignorant jerk.

Well that was just an experiance that you had with ANOTHER guy...not all guys are the same...but most of them are when they are teenagers...and some adults. But the thing to remember is to be cautious and never give up... just get close to him, be a friend, get to know him, then if you choose to do so, tell him how you feel....never give up...go for it or else you'll always have curiousity of what could have been. GOOD LUCK!!

Dont understand what you are really trying to say. If you are worryed about the different background dont.
If you like him then thats all that matters. I dont know what world your living in but last time I check black and whites can be with each other my boyfriend is black. Thats all I date.Well not all I date I do date some mexicans but Iam half mex, white,So I dont know what to really tell ya other than grow up.

If you want my opinion, go for it. I will wanr you though to assess the risk. If the good outweighs the bad then go for it. If it doesn't then stay back and ignore your feelings. You might just need to talk to him a little more, get to know him a little better, and just keep being yourself. So what if people talk, if you think he's worth it, he is. And your true friends will stand by you no matter what.

You're confusing yourself. Maybe hint that you like him and if he doesn't respond, let it go.

I also liked a white guy in HS and thought he liked me too. e hung out a bit, but he also "picked this other girl over me." Twelve years later, he told me the race thing bothered him.

if you like him then talk to him let him know that you like him and it's okay to like a white boi. i even have a black female friend who's engaged to a white male, and they are very happy.
