I am getting 4 buiscup teeth pulled, bc i got braces, and they need to be pulled to make room , tell me step by step what happends, and when do u feel pain, and when they take out the tooth is there a big whole!.. and is there any swelling , or did anyone experience dry socket, ew thnx

I have had several teeth pulled during my long life. I have always gone to an oral surgeon who puts me to sleep and when I wake up, it's all over. There will be big holes in your gums and sometimes stitches that you will be able to feel with your tongue. I would recommend an ice pack to your face to allay swelling. Drink only cool liquids at first. No, I never experienced dry socket. I hear that can be quite painful. I wish you the best.

I haven't had mine pulled, but a couple of my friends have. First they inject something into ur mouth to make the area numb. That's the only part htat hurts, and that being just a little. Nothing hurts after that. There is a gap there, but the teeth slowly fill it in by moving.

The doctor will give you medicine and you will fall asleep. You won't feel pain but you may throw up a bit later on. Depending on where the teeth are in your mouth is how you determine if there will be a whole.

What happens is that they look at how your jaw place ment is.then they start wiggling the tooth.they get this thing that looks like a eye brow pluker and pull the tooth out.it hurts alot and is swollin for a couple of days.dependin on what type of dentist you have they might give you shots .

i had my tooth pulled when i was awake with local numbing only. they gave me pain meds and there was some pain for a few days but it wasnt bad
dont smoke or suck through straws and you shouldnt get dry socket

NOT!!!
im kiddin' its absulotely painless and its just like losing a tooth, you feel pretty much nothing except your teeth going out and blood. i got braces and they pulled a 5 out. i cried a bit. i mean i lost 5 teeth just for some stupid braces. completely painless though.

1. they give u some gooy stuff and ur gums feel numb
2. they give u a shot in the gums
3. they pull it. kinda hard to explain.

i had this done. same reason. it's not too bad. the novocaine is the only thing you'll feel. a little pinch.
