Aside from a super fluffball. Her coat usually isn't so messed up, I think she'd just woken up or something... oh and her individual strands of fur are really kinky like crimped hair. But altogether her fur looks smooth.

She is a calico for sure, I know that. She also weighed 11 lbs last time we took her to the vet. She's a very sweet cat and loves to head butt people when they come over. But she's also very independent and likes to be alone a lot. If that helps any....

Her fur is very soft but not silky. It's soft like cotton or something. My other cat is like pure silk. See my other question about my cats if you want to see her.

Oh, what a BEAUTIFUL kitty!

I agree with other who have suggested Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat. but these classifications would only apply if she's a BIG cat, and I mean over 11 lbs.

Ask your vet, he'll know!

there's some belongings you are able to attempt for this problem. cleansing soap bubbles are smaller and would get your cat really better acclimated to the balloon situation. you are able to attempt to go away the cat in an enclosed area with some balloons to desensitize him. it isn't in any respect a sturdy idea to ignore phobias and fears. best to confront them and attempt to be sure issues from the cat's perspective. His worry might want to correctly be associating the balloons with the loud noise of popping, yet encouraging that worry through comforting in straight forward words reinforces the undesirable habit. Edit for Sharon W - i did not say it change into undesirable habit. purely undesirable habit. there is continuously a sturdy reason behind cats to have quirks no matter if that be from trauma, habit, surroundings or although. Hiding isn't undesirable habit. that is self-protection and something the cat discovered with the help of a nasty journey. A properly-adjusted cat isn't neurotic. certain, they have fears and those are completely organic, yet there are approaches to desensitize cats to their fears so as that the article or pastime will change into better perfect and not in any respect as scary.

I'm thinking a Calico/ Maine Coon mix although my Turkish Van's silhouette was much like that with the collar.
Is her fur really silky?

She's beautiful. Could just be a long hair domestic. I'd say the color is tortise shell but she has the white chest so technically it's a calico. Could be Maine Coon, is she full grown they're usually really big.
