God has many faces and however you wish to visualize God is acceptable. God has a place for you, and a face for you. That place is wherever you are and that face is the one you choose to see. I'm relatively sure no two people visualize God in the exact same way.

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

And what does the Bible teach?Instead of listening to others opinions you should consult God's Holy Word and see for yourself.
The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the Son of God,and not God the Son.
Jesus was the first born of all creation.(Col1:15)He had a beginning.
God on the other hand, whose name is Jehovah(Ps83:18) had no beginning and has no end.He is eternal.
Jesus throughout the book of John identifies himself as the Son of God.He prays to His Father, and often refers to His Father.
Matt 16:15,16 Jesus asks his disciples:"You,though, who do you say I am?"In answer Simon Peter said:"You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God"
The disciples of Christ knew he wasn't God Almighty but only the Son.
Unfortunately over the centuries, apostate Christianity has infiltrated the truth of God's Word and many pagan teachings such as immortal soul, the trinity etc have become a part of Christian teaching. It is up to each one of us to search God's Holy Word and seek the truth.

that's a complex answer that many christians who truly reflect on it will admit that they do not understand. It is a mystery to us humans.

What we do know (and its up to you to believe it...I can't force you...but this is what i believe): God is Jesus and Jesus is God. Just as the Holy Spirit is God and God is the Holy Spirit...just as Jesus is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is Jesus...It is the Trinity...They are all one...but they are three seperates...People argue that this is impossible...but all things are possible with God.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (The Word being Jesus)

God Bless and have a good day!

God is not Jesus. Jesus is regarded as God by most Christians. Your Grandma is right and your friend is also right because that is how he believe Jesus is. However, if you give time to know and learn the truth, then maybe you will find it in your heart the real. Go to this website...www.thename.ph
