Discount stores like Big Lots have silverware sets for cheap...or even Ikea has chairs and tables that you can buy and then sell used on craigslist.com when you're done.
Instead of a full catered menu, why don't you do appetizers, wine or punch and then champagnes and cake...way cheaper, less dishes, you'll only need forks for dessert and you'll have some money in your budget for a better honeymoon!

Well, if you are not using a cater and you don't want paper.... you going to need to find a service that will supply the suff and assuming you don't want to wash a 100 plates and dishes and glasses- take them away dirty. It's going to be pretty expensive.
I pasted a website below to give you an idea but you need to find someone local.
I would consider getting a cater if you can't live with paper plates.

It depends on where you are having yoor wedding, what season it is, where do you live and who is catering your reception.
Contact hotel, wedding venues, event organizers, florists and check what their rent prices are. Be prepared, it's very expensive.
You can buy plastic table ware and silverware off the internet that looks exactly like teh real thing and looks very pretty. I went to a wedding last summer and they had white thick plastic plates that were very ornate and pretty and look exactly like china, their plastic silverware was actually silver and very decorative and resembled real silverware.
I hope this helps
Good luck

Why rent silverware? Why not buy good quality clear spoons, forks, plates and cups? There is no sense in getting into alot of debt for just one day..I am getting married in April and that is how we are doing it. Ours will be an outdoor ceremony. Have you already rented a venue? Sometimes the venue has tables and chairs. You may just have to rent tableclothes.

I have found that a few weddings that I have attended in the last year have actually went to the dollar stores to purchase items, and I tell you what you wouldn't know the difference.

Yes, you don't need to spend a lots money on that. Just go to Las Vegas and get married and after go to a nice restaurant, but the guests have to pay for they plates. I got married on the Venetian Hotel and was beautifull!!

If you're on a budget the last thing you should be trying to spend money on is tableware and silverware.......go to a party store and purchase the clear dining ware, is cheap but elegant.

You should negotiate to have your caterer provide it.
