Don't join the military if you're not willing to do the job. That's like starting up working at taco bell and then objecting to serving food.

To be a legitimate objector you can't voluntarily join the military as one. You also can't refuse simply on the grounds that you don't approve of a specific conflict. There has to be a clear, traceable belief that you do not believe killing for any reason is justifiable. If you attempt to pull this, and it's shown that you lied about your objector status while coming into the military, you're gonna be in alot of trouble and that's not even mentioning the distaste you're going to earn from your fellow unit members who ARE willing to do what they signed up for. In other words, it's not worth the risk. Get a job you don't object to.

when you join a branch of the military you swear an oath that you will obey all orders and commands. So if you refuse to fight you gonna have a heap of trouble for not obeying the orders . Like you could get a general court Marshall and imprisoned for many years and you would most likely go to eleven worth Kansas making little ones out of big ones with a hammer.

Very brave that went yet i'm sorry that he resents it. It sounds to me like he needs to place it at the back of him and circulate on. i does no longer choose the conflict or what's happening in this usa on a letter written by using somebody. that's barely one opinion, because of the fact he's a soldier his opinion does no longer recommend extra desirable than the different American.

No you can't you snot nosed ****. The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. If you want to defend your country, then ship out, if you want to cry like a little brat when the possibility comes up that you may see combat, then go have a tea party with your imaginary friend.

The Army will only pick the Cream of the Crop.
They won't accept people like you.

If you don't want to fight in Iraq or go to Iraq then do not join the Army.

Look...if you join the military, you go where they say you have to go. Unless you go AWOL and end up a fugitive. If you dont believe in the war, dont join the military cause chances are you are going.

Real easy, as long as you were willing to spend time in jail for it. And become a convicted felon. And lose all your rights as a citizen of the United States.

If you are anti-war then why would you even consider joining the military?

Military = War

I take it that little wink means you know that you're asking a really dumb question.

If soldiers could pick and choose which wars they want to fight in, their wouldn't be any damned wars.... Wait a sec. I think I'm on to something here!
