Genesis 6:2
the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.

notice the distinction between "sons of God" and the "daughters of men". this is clear distinction to seperate angels from humans.

angels did come to earth and have intercourse (or mate with) the humans here, it produced a race called nephilim, which were giant in size to humans. (ex: david and goliath, goliath was a nephilim)

Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Numbers 13:32-33
32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, "The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."

so if jesus was son of God, then he was technically an angel. if he was son of man then he is mere man.

what are your thoughts?

If he were the son of God and the Son of man he would be Nephilim and an abomination. God would gladly have killed Jesus himself to get rid of him.

Perhaps Gabriel and Mary got it on.....

Christ Jesus, “the Son of Man.” In the Gospel accounts the expression is found nearly 80 times, applying in every case to Jesus Christ, being used by him to refer to himself. (Mt 8:20; 9:6; 10:23) The occurrences outside the Gospel accounts are at Acts 7:56; Hebrews 2:6; and Revelation 1:13; 14:14.

Jesus’ application of this expression to himself clearly showed that God’s Son was now indeed a human, having ‘become flesh’ (Joh 1:14), having ‘come to be out of a woman’ through his conception and birth to the Jewish virgin Mary. (Ga 4:4; Lu 1:34-36) Hence he had not simply materialized a human body as angels had previously done; he was not an incarnation but was actually a ‘son of mankind’ through his human mother.

This shows that Jesus has a prehuman existence, long before he became human, he was in heaven, God's only-begotten son, he helped God in creating the other angels and creation that was why he is called so.

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him.

As your explanation proves, it is impossible for Jesus to be both 'God' and human at the same time.

Jesus is the Son of God, a different person from God the Father.

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

When the Bible has refered to angels it says angels.. The sons of God were the direct line of Adamic decent. The daughters of men was anyone else that was around at the time. They must have been very pretty. I think you give angles too much capability. The Bible says that those who inherit the kingdom of God are neither married nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in Heaven.. That would make me think that personal relation is not possible for an angel.. Jim

Both.

Matt. 9:6 The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.

Matt. 25:31-32 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

Mark 8:38 If anyone is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His Father's glory with the holy angels.
Mark 10:45 The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

Luke 1:35 The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

Rom. 1:4 [He was] declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead.

If the followers of Jesus (peace be upon him) considered God to be their "Father,"

Then how did they regard Jesus?

To answer this let us read together

"And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet" [Matthew 14:5 (compare with Matthew 21:26)]

"And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee." [Matthew 21:11]

"But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet" [Matthew 21:46]

"And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:" [Luke 24:19]

"The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet" [John 4:19]

"Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world." [John 6:14]

"Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the prophet" [John 7:40]

Indeed, how did Jesus himself describe himself? Let us read

"Nevertheless I (Jesus) must walk to day, and to morrow, and the [day] following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem." [Luke 13:33]

"And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house" [Matthew 13:57]

This is once again confirmed in the noble Qur'an:

"And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Verily! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was [revealed] before me in the Torah" The Holy Qur'an , Chapter 61 , Verse 6

The King James doesn't mention Nephilim:
Genesis 6:4: There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

Stick with King James. We'll know the mysterious details later, in Heaven.

Jesus was not son of God...he was a human being and messenger from Allah and Allah showed His sign in his birth without father.nothing else...

Surah 19. Mary

21. He(angel from Allah) said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us':It is a matter (so) decreed."

29. But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
30. He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;
31. "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;
32. "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;
33. "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!
34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.
35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.
36. Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve ye: this is a Way that is straight.
