he's going to Iraq soon, and i want to get him something really nice and that he'll have with him always to remind him of home and of me .. any ideas or what i can get him wihtout having him reiceve any crap from his buddies in the army? please help! any ideas would be very helpful!

My husband is actually leaving this May. My brother has bought him a combat knife for Christmas that I really wish I had thought of. Maybe ask some of his friends or someone you know to see what is regulated (i have no clue since by brother is in too and he already knew that it was). But it is something nice that will be usefull for him while he is over there for everyday work or if he needs to defend himself. ANd if it is a nice one, his friends definitely won't tease him. I know my husband will love it. Best of luck with the deployment.

Two things I would get him....1. Is a night that he will never forget with you. 2. Get him some type of necklace with a small pendant or bracelet with a pendant....something that characterizes you both. So that way he will always be wearing it and make him smile. Good luck!!!

You should give him you favorite picture of yourself, or which everone he prefers. That way he can always keep you with him to refresh is memories and take away the stress of Iraq.

first of all a laminated pic of yourself and another of his family. second you'd better be writing him everyday, and third cigs for now and nicotine patches for when he gets home oh and to be honest the best night of sex he's ever had wouldn't be a bad idea either
