Well, you just said you get gifts from people you don't like - so why should God spend any money on you if your not necessarily even going to like him?
It don't make no sense, boy?!?!
God wants people to follow him out of love, not for the wrong reasons. Besides, most video games show violence, killing, and many other things that aren't very Godly or biblical. So it couldn't be God's will.

Answer me this honestly...
If you get one of those items mentioned above, from someone/ anyone?... How could you FOR SURE, WITHOUT A DOUBT, deny it was GODS WILL that you got what you asked for, from HIM.
By the way, have you Actually ASKED HIM lately for anything at all?
If you do not believe in Him, then it seems you are just wasting your time with this question anyway...huh?
Even if GOD came into your presence right this second, as you read this answer, WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT?
I say stop wasting your time denying HIM and go STRAIGHT TO THE SOURCE.
GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES, and if you so badly want it, pray and ask...He may just surprise you.
I will even help you with a little prayer right off the top of my head...
You can use it if you want.
It is YOUR CHOICE to BELIEVE.
Dear God,
Life has not been easy for me and a lot of bad stuff has happened in my life.
I thought you let all the bad things happen to me, maybe I thought you were mad at me, or I was maybe mad at you.
So maybe therefore, I chose not to believe in you...
Well God, if you are real (and I know a lot of people think you are) I have ONE very special request, though I may be a little selfish, I really think I deserve it...
Help me God to somehow get the "xbox360, or a "Playstation 3"...
There may be no way for me to know if it truly was YOU who got it for me, so maybe show me a sign, or come into my heart right now LORD, allow me to feel your presence FATHER.
Also, since I am actually talking to you, maybe you could help out or do something for a friend or loved on, help my mom, or family member>>>You Questioner, need to personalize this.
In Jesus Holy Name I pray...
Thank you FATHER, God...
AMEN
Now You know I have only offered a prayer for another on answers one or perhaps two other times.
It is rare, oh you will not find it under this nickname...gemseeker...
but anyway...
Whoever you are, I hope and pray, that GOD does touch your heart and that HE by some means, gets you your CHRISTMAS WISH.
AMEN.
DJH
Boy after reading some of the answers you got while I was typing I almost feel DUMB for saying what I said.
Okay look.
I do not know you nor do I pretend to.
I think you should ask GOD into your heart for your own salvation, not for some MATERIAL reward...
BUT...
I do think that if you come to GOD, and ask Him into your heart, mind and soul...For His GLORIFICATION, not your own...Then, after doing that, I see no reason why you couldn't ask Him for what you want.
Though if you do not get it right away, Do Not Be MAD at God...
You know, He has a lot of work to do right now, if the only MIRACLE you need to SEE HIM is for HIM to get you your XBOX, WOW!!!
Come on CHRISTIANS, really, that is PRETTY impressive, no matter how selfish it may seem...
Many did not or do not believe , even after," Turning water into wine, or raising the dead..."
This kid says, HE WILL BELIEVE if only GOD delivers an XBOX 360.
That seems like a small miracle right there in and of itself...
I hope you do say a prayer.
I wish you would say what has been known as THE SINNERS PRAYER...
Dear Father, forgive me, I am a sinner.
I ask Dear Lord that you would forgive me Father and come into my heart.
Help me to change and to GLORIFY YOUR NAME....
In Jesus Holy Name I pray...Amen.
Someone help me with the SINNERS PRAYER...I only got one small part of it there, perhaps someone will post it here for this person...
Thanks.
DJ

He may refuse to answer your prayer because he knows you well enough to know you would only get lazy or lazier.Besides, video games are for people without a life, and has nothing better to do.They'll rot your brain.

Get out of the house, and live a little.

Because God does not want your coerced compliance. He wants your voluntary love. If you think you would be satisfied with just this item, then wait till next year when the next generation video game comes out.

Nothing is the matter with God. You believe you will be satisfied by "stuff". You have stuffitis. This will not satisfy you or if it does it will only be short term.

Good Luck.

You do not believe in God and yet you want him to supply you a christmas gift. Perhaps that is the reason you may not get what you want. If that is the only way to believe in a savior to your gain then again I say I think you may have miss God.

Clam chowder is any of several chowders containing clams and broth. Along with the clams, potato chunks are common, as are onions sauted in the drippings from salt pork. Vegetables are uncommon, but small carrot strips might occasionally be added, primarily for color. A garnish of parsley serves the same purpose. Bay leaves are also sometimes used as a garnish and flavoring.

New England clam chowder is white and as popularized, contains a considerable amount of milk or cream. One point of view contends that New England clam chowder has become creamier over the years as a result of tourism in New England, whereas the traditional recipe calls for a soupier chowder. Supposedly tourists, sometimes squeamish of clams and seafood, prefer the creamier chowder. At one time, some restaurants served clear chowder, and let customers add cream to taste, but that practice is very rare today.

Manhattan clam chowder has clear broth, plus tomato for red color and flavor. In the 1890s, this chowder was called "Coney Island clam chowder" and "Fulton Fish Market clam chowder." The name "Manhattan clam chowder" became attached in the early 1900s. Restaurants typically serve New England or Manhattan chowder, but not both. Many people in the northeastern United States have developed strong loyalty to one style or the other.

Rhode Island clam chowder has clear broth. Though less popular than the other two, clear, white chowders are still served, especially at long-established New England restaurants and hotels, such as those on Block Island.

Some restaurants also serve their own unique clam chowders that do not fall into any of these three types.

Fish chowder is a similar to clam chowder except that shredded fish, often cod, is substituted for the clams. It is made with cream, fish, corn and sometimes onions.

Clam chowder is usually served with small, hexagonal oyster crackers. Throughout the United States, creamy New England-style clam chowder is sometimes served in sourdough bread bowls, especially in San Francisco where sourdough is popular with tourists and has been considered a signature dish since 1849.[1]

He could, but why would he?

Mat 12:39 But he answered them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

If you followed him because he gave you toys would not your motivation be greed? Anyone who claims to have faith when their motivation is not "because it is the right thing to do" is wrong.

1Jo 4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

God gave his most treasured son Jesus for you and I. Did you accept his gift? If you had, you wouldn't want worldly possessions. Your mind thoughts would have changed and you would want things of substance and have meaning in your life.

If He would do that for you-He'd be your servant and you'd be god. It doesn't work that way. If God wanted you to have it you would. But I don't think you'd be helping the poor, deliver the message of hope, or better your fellow man if He got you that-you'd be at home playing games-there's your answer.

How selfish and self centered can someone be? I'd say you're pretty close. You must be a child of 12 or so to speak such a way about SOMEONE your mind will never comprehend! Pray that you never met me...
