Okay, here we go again with the unqualified information being put out. Hopefully we can put it to an end with this question at the least

When the President is aboard any aircraft operated by the U.S. Air Force, that aircraft's callsign will be "Air Force One". If President is aboard any aircraft operated by the U.S. Navy, that aircraft's callsign will be "Navy One". This patterns follows suit with the rest of the armed services, (i.e. "Army One", "Coast Guard One", "Marine One". If the President is aboard a civil aircraft, the callsign will be "Executive One".

So as you can see, The executive cabinet of our government will not always fly under the "Air Force" callsign.

Now I'm sure you're wondering how many aircraft are dedicated to Presedential transport. As someone stated above, it's two(2).

Both are converted Boeing 747-200, specially equipped of course. Tail numbers are 28000 and 29000.

Air Force One is the air traffic control call sign of any U.S. Air Force aircraft carrying the President of the United States. Since 1990, the presidential fleet has consisted of two specifically configured, highly customized Boeing 747-200B series aircraft—tail numbers 28000 and 29000—with Air Force designation VC-25A. While these planes are referred to as "Air Force One" only while the president is on board, the term is commonly used to describe either of the two aircraft normally used and maintained by the U.S. Air Force solely for the president.

Air Force One is a call sign used by ATC. A callsign is what ATC uses to identify aircraft e.g. "Cherokee 54T" or "Delta 3875". At any one time there is only one AF One because the president can't be in two places at the same time. There is a designated Air Foce One which is a modified 747-200B designation VC-25A. There have been 6 aircraft designated as Air Force One over the last 60 years

An interesting fact;

Any aircraft which carries the President of the United Staets is "Aircraft One" If it is the Presidential jet, or the helicopter, or a crop duster, when it carries the President it becomes (for all military and traffic control) "Air Force One".

The answer then can only be------ 1

It depends on how much a government is willing to spend on its Presidential Fleet of airplanes. Basically "Airforce-!" is any airplane that belongs to an airforce which has the president on board as a passenger. So if that small, poor country-x -for instance- has an airforce and its government can only afford to by a single Cessna-182RG Skylane. It will be called Airforce-1 wheneve the President of country-x needs to fly from one place to another on the Skylane.
If the plane is owned by the navy, when the president rides in it then its called Navy-1. USMarine-1 is the name of the USMarine Corps helicopter that lands on the lawn of the White House in Washington.

The military desires plane which will function for long cases in a salt water atmosphere. Launches from a provider deck additionally require distinctive wing designs, and acceleration thrust factors could be distinctive from land based plane. you have asked a solid question. The military might particularly choose to have the potential to easily place an F22, or F35, on a provider deck. with the aid of layout ameliorations, that may not be available.
