case in point - cosmetics: what's the point of processing and wasting all those petrochemicals, just for the sake of looking pretty.

My girlfriend reminds me quite rightly of "stupid men and their gas-guzzling cars". Point taken.

Want to reduce CO2s? Stop flying, stop driving. Use public transport or even better travel under your own power.

Is man making the earth hotter? well I'm only 14 but i do know this, if you were to back 50yrs and you'd find Global Cooling. If you went forward 50yrs, you'd find Global Warming. But it is true that the earth is hotter. Its hotter (in my opinion) because of the natural elements that cause the atmosphere to thin which then lets more direct heat in to the plant causing lots of problems.

Yes. I don't think anybody really disagrees with that, but there is violent disagreement about how much hotter and how much is too much.

Ok, seriously.....there is so much debate over this, but I honestly think that our earth works in cycles. I don't know that we really have that much control over the temp, unless we set off nuclear bombs every day. Then we'd have much biggger probs.
