The exact procedure will be determined by your doctor depending on what he finds during the physical examination. You should really talk to your doctor openly and honestly about everything, so that he can make a proper diagnosis and prescribe an effective treatment.

I'm going to direct you to a website that describes the digestive system and various problems that might happen to the body. I know that you are scared, but I will tell you what a doctor once told me about bright red blood on the toilet paper. That is new blood and although scary, it is not as 'bad' as if it were dark or black blood.

I do not know from your description what is wrong, you need to go back to your Mom and talk to her. Ask to see a doctor. There is a specialist called a gastroentrologist that your family physician might refer you to. You won't know until he examines you. He may recommend you add more 'fiber' to your diet so that your bowel movements become soft. You really need to see a doctor for advice about this.
You are probably 'constipated' which is a fancy way of saying that when you try to 'poop' . . nothing seems to come out. It's a vicous cycle because than you feel sick, so you keep trying . . it hurts . . and if you strain, than you can create 'cuts' that creates the red blood stains on the toilet paper.
Here are some other possibiites, which only a doctor that examines you can tell if this is what you have.
1. Irritable bowel syndrome - symptoms include abdominal cramps, bloating, constipation, and/or diarrhea
2. Ulcerative colitis - ulcers (cuts that don't heal) form in the rectum and large intestine.
3. Crohn's disease - can affect the entire digestive tract from the mouth down to the anus
4. Hemorrhoids - very common condition that many people have including teenagers is a swollen blood vessel located right inside the anus or rectum. The swollen vessel can be painful and cause red blood stains on toilet paper. Here is a site where you can read about it and see a diagram.

No need to be terrified, alot of people have this problem. the blood is just from you pooping so hard. it tears the sphyinxter mucsles. Yes you should talk to your doctor, he might ask for a poop sample. The doctor will probably tell you to eat more fruit and vegies, High fiber. If anything comes back in your sample the doctor might have you get an endoscopy or colonoscopy, which are totally safe procedures where they make you go to sleep and check around in your stomach and/or bowel to see what's going on. I had these problems when I was your age and my parents wouldn't listen, I found out I had irritable bowel syndrome when I was 21. Their are alot of meds out their to help "bad" stomachs. So good luck and get to the Dr.
You can also try eating a chocolate bar followed by a big glass of water, that usually gives me a run to the bathroom.
And just so you know, Cheese binds you up... (Makes it so you can't go #2)

I hear you, your scared. A trip to the Dr. is the key.He will find out the problem & know how to fix it. My Granddaughter has that problem. There was nothing seriously wrong. Dr. prescribed a laxitive that did work. Exlax is useless. The other thing they thought was that she just put off going to the bathroom too long.Didn't want to take the time. Busy kid thing. Once they got the problem solved she was able to go regularly & problem solved. She often experienced pain in her side from this. Very uncomfortable. They also incouraged her to increase the fiber in her diet & to drink plenty of water She's fine now. The Dr. is not going to hurt you & you will be free from the worry. So ask your Mom to take you & get it looked after. Take care.

Sounds like you are constipated. You need to take Milk of Magnesuim. Make sure you read the directions on the bottle on how much to take and how often. The blood is probably from the straining. It's ripping your rectum when you go. You should go to a doctor as soon as possible. A year is way too long to have this problem.

Are you drinking lots of water-good old H20? Try drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day and eating 3-5 fruits or veggies. Cut back on your bread, especially white bread. If you are eating a typical teen fast food diet, you are probably just constipated.
If that isn't the case, then please go see a doctor-a good doctor will be able to make you feel at ease to answer the questions.

Don't be scared! It is probably hemmorhoids and that is not a terrible problem although painful. The first thing a doctor will do is ask you questions, only if it were hard to figure out they would give you more extensive tests, but please don't worry because it is most likely something that is easily treated without any big procedures.

You probably don't even need to see a doctor. Bright red blood is hemmeroids. If the blood is dark red or black, then you have a problem further up in your intenstines and need to see a doctor ASAP. Eat more fiber and see if the problem goes away.

i do no longer think of it particularly is strange. You men are not that far aside later on, and anybody has a distinctive adulthood point. could be you're extra mature, and she or he's somewhat immature (no longer in a foul way) for her age, so which you adventure up excellently! it would be a solid concept to attend until eventually you're somewhat older, so merely get excitement from your friendship and don't be freaked out. i certainly do no longer think of it particularly is undesirable. and how you talk approximately her is definitely candy, you appear to be an quite large man or woman. :)

First, the doctor will probably ask what the poop consistency is and how often you do it. You just may be constipated and may be ripping your rectum when trying to get it out.
You really need to see a doctor if laxatives aren't working.
