Say they ask you to pray for something that you do not personally believe in. Wouldn't this be a good time to ask the Lord to grasp your typing fingers and place them in your lap?

OK, you mean they ask it on Answers_ Then yes, I agree.
If one asked me in person, I would feel an obligation to respond, though.

Yes, there are many times that it happens to me. It isn't that I don't personally believe, but there are times that I want my thoughts to be on that person, so it is then that I ask Jesus to help me say the right thing and pray for that person.

that's the time to open up and ask them whats truly up and pray there on the spot let them pray say the words they have on their hearts like i do when i 'm asked to pray with some one after all it's their prayer.
