OK, I'm a girl and I would like to get a tattoo on my ankle, hip, lower back, somewhere along those lines. I'd like a pretty, feminine design, nothing too big, manly or scary. Any ideas??

Tattoos can add to the natural beauty of females in much the same way as make-up does. Yes I know you can take make up off at the end of the day but that is not the point.

A tattoo should mean something to you and become part of your body. There are many feminine tattoo designs that you can explore but think about what it means to you before you make a commitment.

Have a look at the following for feminine tattoos.

While tattoos may look nice if done tactfully, they do pose a risk of getting Hepatitis C, just so you are aware of this. It has been scientifically proven. I also know a guy whose parents are now dying from that and their dr. went over their medical history to determine that the cause is from their tattoos. The ink goes into the bloodstream through the skin so that makes sense. Being sure if the risk is worth it matters most. Then if you still want one, discrete places to put them are the best. It is not so good to have on a neck , if you have a high profile job when you get employed at a good company. The image that shows is looked at by employers. I also would think that in the neck it will hurt more to have it done. I would avoid the areas with nerve endings. Those can be highly sensitive areas to put a needle.

No lower back ones please!! I got an adorable frog on my left bikini area... but that's a long story... I think a simple flower on your ankle would be adorable... You can go to a tattoo shop and one of the artists will be happy to draw a design up for you... If this is your first tattoo, keep it simple... you will want more later :)

There are so many beautiful angels and fairy designs that I'm sure you'd love. Something with lovely colors also, I'd put a smaller tat on my ankle, leave your lower back for a bigger one.

Why don't you buy the temporary tattoos they sell in places live CVS or Wal-Mart? They look great and last about a month and you can put on a different one every time. I like tattoos but can't picture myself with a real one when I'm 90 years old in the nursing home. That's why I go with the temporary ones.
