My religion has an idea about what happens after death, but it's a little different from others.
When I die, the components of my body are supposed to go back into nature via the natural processes. I am not supposed to be cremated or embalmed or sealed into an impermeable casket. I am to be buried in dirt in the simplest possible wooden box, so that the earth can re-claim the material that has made up my formerly-living body.
I will not remain aware of myself as a human. I may experience some molecular "memory" as I am assimilated into various other organisms.
If I leave a child behind when I go, my genetic material continues to live. If I leave recorded art or literature, a part of my mind continues to live. If someone loves me while I'm alive and remembers me fodly after I die, then a part of my emotion survives.
That's about it. I don't need more than that.

In my beliefs.., that I got from a spirit that claims to be my soul: 1).Heaven is: --a. We are in heaven already ----i. The cosmos --b. Where we will be as invisible in death --c. The after-life on another planet. 2). Everyone 3). The requirement is to have been a zygote. 4). At first, on the planet we are taken to we will be alone with the spirit/s in us for our personal 'hell' if necessary, but at the least to have instruction and 'punishment'. Because we will need to be able to retreat into sleep. In death it is for the 'BAM', The nightmare of God is THAT real!! 5). We will be with the people we are most similar to. Our culture/sub-culture. 6). Mother Theresa tried to 'purchase' favor by denying her inheritance on Earth, and earn a place in Heaven. It doesn't work like that. She get's 'mind-game- in death to prove that that is how her turning her back on material wealth played out. The people who do best are those who by nature are kind and 'good'. NOT the ones who have reasoned that we should be kind and good. Theology and religious adherence backfires when it is done to be pleasing to God. Atheists have an edge there with secular morality. The people who have tried to provoke any god? They succeeded. They find out in death. Everyone is destined for more life in the flesh. God is not here. He is in The Sun and knows nothing about any specific person now. He will not be 'allowed' to see us until the other spirits give the 'all clear' for Him. In the same way we can have bad memories triggered.., He is the same. The other spirits don't want Him to have any bad memory triggered when He finally sees the what His imagination created, They want Him to not recognize any Hitler, let's say. When He sees any Hitler, He will not remember what any Hitler had done. He will see every Hitler the same as any good and kind person. Because by the time the spirits have 'dealt with' every Hitler.., they will be a different person. No conversation of past sins will taint God's experience watching us live. A lot of time has gone into our evolution..., they are not going to drop the ball on that one in protecting his mind from the memories of our sins. They can handle it. They don't want that for him. To have to handle these memories. I call some of those spirits demons. They are something else, bro. As if absolutely NO conscience. They are very sincere about the 'I don't care how I make YOU feel attitude that they have in ensuring that He does not have any clue about any specific sin for any person. It is not a religion/church. It comes from what I call demonic possession. The demons are in love with God and are doing Him a favor. They even take the blame for a lot of things They are the ones who dreampt up Christianity, Islam, Judaism.., Hinduism. All religions are a sham. If we knew the truth it would affect our personality development and we would all be too similar. Peace. Edit - More on 4). Consider our own desires..., it will be 'Garden of Eden' ---> Star Trek, essentially. The spirits dreampt up technology, it will happen again. Some people , Stephen Hawking for example.., want to play Star Trek. They will. Some people will have some tech taken to them..., others will not. The Prime Directive.., believe it or not. (No transporter room, though). lmao

In infinite love and mercy God made Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might be made the righteousness of God. Led by the Holy Spirit we sense our need, acknowledge our sinfulness, repent of our transgressions, and exercise faith in Jesus as Lord and Christ, as Substitute and Example. This faith which receives salvation comes through the divine power of the Word and is the gift of God's grace. Through Christ we are justified, adopted as God's sons and daughters, and delivered from the lordship of sin. Through the Spirit we are born again and sanctified; the Spirit renews our minds, writes God's law of love in our hearts, and we are given the power to live a holy life. Abiding in Him we become partakers of the divine nature and have the assurance of salvation now and in the judgment. Jehovah's Witnesses understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments) after Armageddon.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him
Over whom will they rule? Over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling from among godfearing worshippers, including many who were never Jehovah's Witnesses. Today, each true worshipper "feels" his own hope and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%*) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to take a left on Main Street, go three lights and then take a right, cross the railroad tracks, and then beep your horn 3 times.

This question was asked to Paul and Silas some 2000 years ago!
He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.

By admitting your sins, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, and confessing what you do wrong.
That IS how you get to Heaven, no questions asked!

We believe that the majority of faithful mankind will not GO to heaven... they will have the chance to live in perfection here on a perfected earth just as Jehovah intended in the beginning. We believe that 144,000 chosen by God out of mankind will go to heaven to serve as co-rulers with Jesus. As for how we GET to eternal life here... with faith in Jesus sacrifice of his life for our sins, obedience to Jesus' Father, Jehovah, and dedication to His principles.
