my girlfriends mom came and deleted a bunch of things off the computer and now my sound isnt working. when i go into the sound and devices in the control panel and i go to the volume tab i cant click any thing in that panel same goes for the audio and voice tabs, do i have to buy a new sound device or is there a way i can put it back on?

Try to restore your computer to a point before she deleted things, if that doesn't help you might have to re-install windows to get it back.

reload the drivers for your sound card. Go to Device Manager and click on the properties for you sound card. Select Update driver.

there is this thing called once before which can turn back the time before she deleted the volume try to figure how to use it
