Is said in the instrauctions of the hair dye that I bought ..If the color is undesirable you can wash your hair with regular dish soap and it will lessen the color because it strips the hair of oils and such.
It will do a number to your hair drying it out and all that but a good replenishing mask or deep conditioner afterward would help bring your hair back to life.
If your color is not fresh I dont imagine that you would get quite the same lessening result ...but it might help ..after a few shampooings.
If you do remember to use a good conditioner afterward.

My friend used dish soap to lighten her black hair because she did not like it, though I love it! Our hair stylist told her to do it. I trust my stylist - I drive an hour every 6 weeks even though I live in a huge city for her to do my hair She washed her hair a couple times in a row with dish soap and she said that while it didn't take it out completely, it lightened it.

Yes. It will take out some of the dye but not all. I just recently colored my hair with a home coloring kit that was supposed to be ESPRESSO (dark rich brown). I ended up with black -opps! I washed once with dish soap and it lightened it a little. It does dry out your hair so follow with a heavy conditioner. Good luck!!

It will dry and damage your hair and leave your scalp flaky , maybe itchy
All your scalp oils will be stripped and your hair will be brittle and breaking off.
Save your hair and buy shampoo and conditioner.
And yes as I person already stated it will take the paint off cars.
That's why there is washing solution for cars same as shampoo and conditioners for the hair
And dish soap is for dishes

Depends... Is the Dish soap toxic... After a LONG period of time it starts to wear it off but not in one wash. Just go get your hair die stripped at a salon. It will save you a lot of grief later

No, but it will dry the heck out of your hair...it may lighten it up a bit, but I will not take it out all the way.
Here's a tip...permanent hair dye is just that...PERMANENT! It will grow out eventually, but next time...opt for the TEMPORARY stuff.
