Whatever it is make SURE it is somethinf she really wants, and means something to her. Tattoos are forever and you wont want her regretting it.

No one's name, nothing cliche, and something original, that a friend of her's designs.
It really depends on where she wants to get it, how big she wants it to be, and all that . . . if she wants something a bit different and small, she could tattoo the cartilage of her ear. That's what I'm going to do next.
There are LOTS of tattoo sites on-line if she wants ideas.
