Dab it with either pure tea tree oil or lavender oil. Both have antiseptic properties and should do the trick!! Also try your best not to fiddle with it and drink lots and lots of water to improve your skin generally!

If it's a cold sore try tea tree oil, but don't get it in your mouth it's disgusting!!

i am an alternative medicinal therapist and I use TEA TREE oil and Calendula cream, you get these from any health store.

My sister used to use toothpaste (plain old white, no sparkles in it) to put onto her blemishes at night to dry them up faster.

rub a clove of garlic or part of a clove of garlic on it.
Put sudocreme on it.
