While it does not directly translate to "what's up?", the Spanish version is "Que tal?" (kay-tall) meaning something around the lines of "How's it going?" That's probably one of the most popular casual greetings.

Que onda? ( very common in Mexico - which Spanish do you need?)

Que tal? (most common in Argentina & Uruguay)


Now... do you mean "what's up dude?" or " what's going on with that?" type of thing? Because if it is referred to a situation, you can say " Que pasa con eso?" ( meaning What's up with that)

In Panama they say "Que Pasa." I know this because my Panamanian friend says it all the time, and he always says it twice.

to say whats up in spanish you say "que pasa" if you dont know how to pronounce it try "kay pasa"

que onda its more common in Mexico than "Que hubo?" que tal"? or anything else, q hubo sounds weird in some places.
