Sylvia Browne has learned to capitalize on the study of human behavior and is so general at times...I can't even believe that people buy that BS.
I also think that when you are talking about a public appearance like "Montel", it's totally staged. You have to give your name and some information to get the tickets, so they do a little back ground digging by paying someone to do research on individuals and come up with their names in death notices or divorces and such.
She's a fraud and it's sad that some people are so desperate as to pay her.

it particularly is sweet, there is not any reincarnation, we don't come decrease back in yet another physique or an animal, or maybe though. Psychics are additionally wide-unfold as prophets and in case you study Deuteronomy 18:20-22, it speaks of those human beings. In different words, if a prophet speaks that which he has no longer been commanded to talk, by God, he's no longer a real prophet. Ms. Browne has a large variety of folk fooled, i think of. God bless you!!

She is a complete fake. Check out youtube and see the episode where she forgot to let the audience member finish and she blurted out a ridiculous answer to the whereabouts of the woman's husband who died in 9/11. She's not even good at deceiving people (others are good at making it look like they're talking to the dead -- it's ALL ridiculous). Check out the James Randi foundation and you'll see that she agreed on Larry King to take Randi's simple and fair test and she has yet to take it. She's a con artist who preys on people's hopes -- once people have projected their hopes onto her, they defend her as extensions of their own belief systems. She knows that and she uses it to her advantage.

I really like Sylvia Browne. I think a lot of what she says makes sense to me more than lots of other things out there. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy, but still respects my beliefs. I think her being "rude" is just her personality. She's been doing this a looong time and has heard the same questions over and over and over and over.........

I believe that she is a human being. As far as her supposed abilities and where the source of them is from...this is what the Bible has to say about these things....
Leviticus 19:31: “‘Do not turn yourselves to the spirit mediums, and do not consult professional foretellers of events, so as to become unclean by them. I am Jehovah YOUR God."
Deutornomy 18:9-12a:“When you are entered into the land that Jehovah your God is giving you, you must not learn to do according to the detestable things of those nations. 10 There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, 11 or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah,"
Isaiah 19:3: "And the spirit of Egypt must become bewildered in the midst of it, and I shall confuse its own counsel. And they will be certain to resort to the valueless gods and to the charmers and to the spirit mediums and to the professional foretellers of events."
Galatians 5:19-21: "19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, 20 idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, 21 envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom"
Revelations 22:15: "Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone liking and carrying on a lie.’
I think that the force that powers her is from this world, which the Bible says..."is lying in the power of the wicked one" (1 John 5:19)

I don't need to believe in her--I know she exists because I've seen her on TV.
As far as the whole spirit/predictions schtick, it's a complete load of bollocks.

I read one of her books. It's extremely interesting to read. Part of me believes in her but there's still a part that says she's a crock. I still just don't know. I DO know that if I had those powers I'd be helping people...all people. Not charging for it either. Like she can look a you and see your illness. Why can't she be a great doctor then? Heal people?

If she was on the montel show then she must be real. Not like that damn Easter bunny, or Lucky the Leprechaun. I've been looking for those 2 forever
