If you'll check the last few questions I asked - I asked 4 questions - asking "What is the snarkiest comment you've gotten on here?" I asked it to Christians, Muslim, Other and Atheists. It was worded the same every single time, just addressing a different audience. Yahoo gave me a violation notice before even POSTING the one to atheists.

How atheists on this board put up with this kind of attitude is beyond Me.

To make it very clear - this post to atheists never even went UP. A christian didn't report it. Yahoo themselves wouldn't allow it, yet it was the same post I made to muslims, christians and other.

The atheists have apparently been targeted by some group of Christians, that flood YA with abuse requests against them. I've noticed that their choice of targets has little to do with the "offensiveness" of the poster. They seem to go after the most "dangerous" ones. I'm proud to say I'm one of them. :)

I've had the majority of my questions deleted now. I don't bother asking them anymore. (Chatting and Personal Communications is this group's calling card, I've noticed)

And for the record, they were not offensive in any way. They were simply logical. And that makes Christians cranky.

But I do take heart, knowing that I at least got their attention, and made them think, whether they wanted to or not.

And that's the only reason I'm here. :)

That's wierd.

Another thing that's wierd is that a few of my answers don't show up on the questions. They show up in my list of answers on my profile, but the answers just....disappear. They simply don't post to the question. Also, the questions say "You've already answered this question".

Most unfortunately, these are not the short "No, I don't agree" posts, but ones that I've put a lot of thought into. And I'm not talking about disrespectful or bashing answers, either.

They aren't being reported - there isn't time for that to happen.

They just don't show up.

*scratch head*

My hubby tells me that same thing has happened to him.

All groups get picked on from all sides - that's the way here - but it seems Atheists and Muslims get more unfairness in questions removed and unjustifiable reports. Some have left but others are around under the witness protection program.

Many of the folks who used to post daily when I started have all gotten tons of notices and no longer post.

Most of them were atheists who were reported by christians.

I don't think Yahoo has a bias, but I think that some christians (but not all) have such a weak faith that they can't handle a little criticism

Yahoo! works the same way as Yahweh, apparently.
