BIG BOY'S COLESLAW
1 lg. head cabbage, shredded
1 med. onion, thinly sliced
7/8 c. granulated sugar
Carrots, optional
DRESSING:
1 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
Layer cabbage, onion, carrots and sugar. Combine dressing ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture. Stir. Cover; refrigerate 4-6 hours. Mix well before serving
