we just moved a month ago and his eating habits have gone down hill from there. he is usually a very healthful eater. today my babysitter called and said that he wouldn't even eat his favorite food, "french fries". He doesn't drink a bottle. but he does use a sippy cup.

He'll get hungry soon. Give it a couple of hours.

The move has probably caused some insecurities and he has reversed back to some infantile behavior. Reassure him and offer a variety of foods. Also, even though he is only two years old he might like to participate in his food preparation. Be sure he takes his vitamins and gets plenty to drink. He will adjust to his new surroundings soon and go back to a more healthy eating pattern. If not, I would talk to his pediatrician.

Kids go through different eating patterns as long as they are getting something to eat there fine, have you try the pedialyte milk drinks? Give him a while he'll probably move on to something else.

Two year old dont react really well to change. He may need a few weeks of extra attention and comforting from his family. When he is feeling more secure he may start eating again. Relax, not many children in america starve themselves to death. You may want to get his teeth checked just in case. A decaying baby tooth may cause him to not want to eat.

my daughter has always been a fussy eater (partially due to a feeding tube in her early months) she is 2 also and eats very little so liquid multivitamins in her apple juice/water gives me good peace of mind and she loves smoothies. use varying fruits, yogurts and flax oil for 'good' fat...
it is so frustrating but don't force him, he'll eat.
I also feed my daughter tonnes of snacks throughout the day, shes a grazer vs. a sit down eater...hey whatever works!
GOOD LUCK!

Maybe he has a sore throat or is teething. I would check those things first. Your son will not starve himself, he will eat eventually. In the meantime, give him lots of fluids.

Only offer him solid foods. Eventually he'll realize how hungry he is and he'll give in. It's either going to be him giving in once, your you giving in alot :-)
