Tape a picture of a really obese person in front of you. Everytime you feel an urge to dip in to the chocolate bowl, stare at that picture. Put some healthy, low cal snacks in front of you & try to satisfy your urge that way. Hard, but you can do it, use your will power!

Ha! Chocolate is my problem too. It took me about WEEKS to refuse or gain control! But....you could try looking another way or keep yourself busy when you walk by it or talk to someone while you walk by and try not to eat chocolate for a week, except maybe try to keep your sweet tooth filled so you will have easier time refusing sugar (chocolate). Or grab something else in the bowl instead of chocolate. Most of my patients keep themselves busy with reading and talking at the same time and not even thinking of sugar and instead they are thinking of making a BIG project at work. Hope it helps you sweetie. Ciao

Eat only when u feel hungry, and only one or two pieces. Chocolaste is also my weakness too, and I used to have a huge bowl of choclates in my office too, but I only used to eat 1 0r 2 when I was really hungry. In fact, I lost more weight then I intended to.

I hear ya! It is ok to eat some once in a while! Just don't over do it. Try to limit yourself to one or 2 a week and you should be fine. Or if you'd rather try for NONE, then just look at every piece of chocolate like if you eat it, it will just become ONE more dimple in your thigh.... =0)

Okay, while NOTHING is gonna take the place of chocolate, you can try to take your mind off the menace by snacking on almonds, which are healthy and filling, or something sweet, like a cup of melon or fruit salad. You could also try drinking chocolate soy milk.
(Sorry, there's really no great answer to this one... good luck!)

Out of sight out of mind. Just stay away from it and try to keep busy so you don't have to see it. Also drink lots of water to make yourself feel full.

Bring Grapes. They are low-cal and mainly water, and you still get the finger-to-mouth feeling like with chips and stuff
