marshmellows i need to get rid of does anyone have any good recipes that i can use?? Thanks lots! God bless!!

"Toasted Marshmallow Cake"

1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. devils food cake mix
12 large marshmallows
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350*.
Prepare cake mix; pour into greased and floured 13x9x2" baking pan.
Cut marshmallows in half crosswise; arrange in rows over batter in pan. Mix brown sugar and nuts; sprinkle over top. Bake 40-45 minutes. (If marshmallows become too brown, cover cake with aluminum foil.) Serve warm.


"Chocolate Clusters" - 3 1/2 dozen candies

1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate pieces
1/3 cup butter or margarine
16 large marshmallows
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flaked coconut
2 cups oats

Melt chocolate pieces, butter and marshmallows in large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; mix in vanilla, coconut and oats thoroughly. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill until firm.


"Rocky Road Candy" - 4 dozen candies

1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate pieces
1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups salted peanuts
2 cups miniature marshmallows

Melt chocolate pieces, chocolate and butter in large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
Beat eggs until foamy. Mix in sugar, salt and vanilla; blend in chocolate mixture. Stir in peanuts and marshmallows. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Store in refrigerator; remove just before serving.


"Orange Mallow" - 9 servings

32 large marshmallows or 3 cups miniature marshmallows
1 tsp. grated orange peel
2/3 cup orange juice
1 cup chilled whipping cream

Stir together marshmallows, orange peel and juice in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted. Chill until thickened.
In chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff; blend in marshmallow mixture. Pour into square pan, 8x8x2". Freeze about 4 hours or until firm.


"Glorified Rice" - 6 to 8 servings

1 cup cooked rice, cooled
1/3 cup sugar
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple; drained
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup miniature marshmallows
2 tbsp. drained chopped maraschino cherries
1 cup chilled whipping cream; whipped

Mix rice, sugar, pineapple and vanilla. Stir in marshmallows and cherries. Fold in whipped cream.

Chocolate Marshmallow Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c sugar
3 tb cocoa
1 1/2 c self-rising flour
1 1/2 c chopped pecans
1 ts vanilla extract
6 oz miniature marshmallows

Instructions

Cream butter, sugar and cocoa. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
after each. Add flour, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Pour batter
into greased and floured 9x13" pan. Bake at 325~ F for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and place miniature marshmallows on top of hot cake.

ICING: 4 TBSP butter 1 lb confectioners sugar 4 TBSP cocoa 1 tsp
vanilla milk for desired consistency Cream all ingredients together
and spread on warm cake. Cool cake before cutting.



Brown Sugar Marshmallow Icing
Ingredients

12 Large Marshmallows; cut in
-sm. cubes
2 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 C. Butter
Cream
1/2 C. Chopped Nuts; (optional)

Instructions

Stir brown sugar and milk over low heat until dissolved:

Cover the syrup for about 3 min. or until the steam has washed down
any crystals which may have formed on the sides of the pan. Uncover
and cook without stirring to 238 degrees. Remove from the heat and
add marshmallows and butter.

When these ingredients are melted and the ising has cooled to 110
degrees, beat until it is a good consistency for spreading. If too
heavy, thin with a little cream.

Pour the cream a few drops at a time.
Add chopped nuts if desired

About 1 1/2 cups




Dr. Pepper Cherry Marshmallow Cake

Ingredients

(16 servings)

2 cn Dark sweet cherries, pitted, drained, reserving syrup

JELLO MIXTURE:
3/4 c Reserved cherry syrup
1/4 c Dr. Pepper
1 pk Cherry Jello, 3oz size
1/8 ts Almond extract

BATTER MIXTURE:
1 pk Yellow cake mix
1 pk Cherry Jello, 3oz size
1/2 c Vegetable oil
3/4 c Dr. Pepper
4 Eggs
2 c Minature marshmallows


Instructions

Arrange cherries evenly on bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan. Preheat oven to 350~F. In a small saucepan, combine the cherry syrup, 1 package of cherry jello and 1/4 cup Dr. Pepper; gently heat until jello is dissolved. Add almond extract and cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix, 1 pack cherry jello, oil, eggs and 3/4 cup Dr. Pepper. Beat on high for 3-4 minutes. Pour cooled jello mixture over cherries in pan. Sprinkle evenly with the minature marshmallows and then carefully and evenly spoon the batter mix over the marshmallows. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cool on rack for 45 minutes. Chill 3-4 hours. This is a self icing cake!!!

You can make the rice Krispie treats in the microwave. Melt your mellows in the micro-watch 'em get big but don't let them get all over the place. Mix in crispies til it really sticks to your wooden spoon and pat into a greased pan. Viola. Add choco chips to the top if you are really getting into it.

over a stove and melt them as u would at a camp fire
you can make smores
you can put them in hot coco
you can melt them into marshmellow cream and put in between to chocolate cake layers

Well, Miss Queen, I'll see if I can find one in my collection. But you could use them as fishing bait, or put them on top of hot cocoa. Pumpkin Eggnog Pie
Always welcome duing the holiday season, and all during the autumn and winter.

1 9inch pie
55 min 15 min prep
1 9" unbaked pie shell
1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
1 1/2 cups prepared eggnog
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
sweetened whipped cream

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix well; pour into pie shell.
Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F; bake for 30-45 minutes longer or until knife inserted into custard is removed clean.
Remove from oven and cool.
Serve topped with sweetened whipped cream.

10 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, divided
3/4 cup plus 3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
3 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows, divided
1-1/2 cups BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks, divided



PREHEAT oven to 325°F if using a silver 9-inch springform pan (or to 300°F if using a dark nonstick 9-inch springform pan). Coarsely chop 2 of the grahams; set aside for later use. Finely crush remaining 8 grahams. Mix graham crumbs, 3 Tbsp. of the sugar and the butter; press firmly onto bottom of pan. Bake 10 min. Cool.
MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese, remaining 3/4 cup sugar and the vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Stir in 1 cup each of the marshmallows and chocolate chunks. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with reserved chopped grahams, remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chunks and remaining 1 cup marshmallows.
BAKE 50 to 55 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

Rice Krispy treats!!!!! Recipe found on the box. Then you could give them as gifts for the holidays.

Rice crispie bars or rocky road fudge. YUM.
Or you could make a "fluff" salad with them. (Fruits, cool whip, and marshmallows.)
