Would you still find her attractive and would you approach her?

Depends on the girl, what kinds of tattoos she has and where she has them. I mean, let's face it, if the woman wasn't attractive to begin with, she probably won't look too attractive with tattoos. If a girl is really attractive to begin with, she will. As for what I'd think of her -- depends on her demeanor. I would assume a nice girl with tattoos is a nice girl. and a snobby girl with tattoos is a snob. Basically, tattoos don't really change who you are.

That said, make sure the tattoo is both a) good tattoo work and b) something unique. If your tattoo is an asian character of text or a tribal design, well you've got the same tattoo as everyone on earth. Get something original and personal. And don't skimp on what you'll pay for one: A good artist is worth every penny. It depends where it is too. Personally, I don't like neck tattoos, I've never seen one I thought looked good. Arm, leg and back tattoos look fine.

I don't mind tattoos and I love piercings below the neck on females. I'm a guy and although I have no tattoos I do have a fair number of piercings that I got because I wanted them, not to show off or impress someone else. But if you saw me you would never imagine the piercings I have. You can't automatically assume a girl is a skank or easy because of tattoos or piercings.

Well, it depends on what kind of tattoos/piercings, how many, and where they are. If a girl were to have her entire body tattooed I would try hard not to judge her, but all of my guys friends I am pretty sure would. For example, I have one tattoo by my bikini line and a naval piercing, in addition to the standard ear piercings. That is a whole lot different. Many of the people who DO get tattoos are normal people inside and just have a different kind of way of expressing themselves. I know it is cliche but don't judge a book by it's cover. :)

Diana - Usually we think that she is rough tough and pretty easy. We do know this generalization is not always true. I personally can't get past too many tatoos but if tastefully done and the girl is self aware, poised, has oodles of class, and knows that she is all that. Then I say lets go for a date and see how this goes. I am never at a loss for words and am known for walking right up to anyone to strike up a conversation.

well if she shows them off they probably think that she is freaky and nasty. but it doesn't matter what they think you are as long as you know what you are. people get tattoos and piercings when they are young usually and later feel silly for having them because they are not in the same frame of mind. i am 24 and have three kids and i have a tattoo and have had two piercings but have taken them out now. i kinda wish i would not have gotten it now. but kinda don't because it was a symbol of a time in my life.yeah...........

According to my husband, alot of tattoos + alot of piercings = freak.

Personally, I would try to get to know the person before making such a judgement.

You just described me...and I don't care what the guys think. If that's you, you shouldn't care either. For all the tattoos and piercings I have, I am NEVER what people expect. So those who are quick to judge are shallow minded worthless people.

I'm happy in my skin and I enjoy my tattoos and piercings. I do things for me, never for others. If someone sees it and likes it, great. If the find it to be ugly, gross and unladylike, fine...chances are they won't have to see me ever again.

Usual comments that usually pop into my head when I see such a chick include:

- Yuck, what an ugly skank

- RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- I wouldn't f*** that ugly slapper if she was the last chick on earth

or

- "Why don't ya just get *I am an ugly slapper* tattoo'ed on your forehead while ur at it?"

Especially can't stand Eyebrow or tongue piercings, and tattoo's that stand out like a sore thumb... almost much as I can't stand chicks wearing more make-up and perfume (that can be smelt from long range) than a branch of BOOTS.

And anyone who thinks a girl with lots of tattoo's or piercings is "sexy" must be either blind, terminally insane (and wake up in the morning thinking that they are an onion) or have the poorest taste in the whole of human history......... and any girl with lots of tattoos & piercings who think they are sexy also have poor taste, and are more dillusional than that emperor in that story "the emperor's new clothes".. you know, the one where these con artists make him "wear" "invisible" clothes..... and everyone's afraid to tell him he's actually completely starkers..... only in their case these chicks are too afraid (or too screwed in the head) to admit they've made themselves simply look just f***ing ugly - I assume it was these same sort of tattoo'ed & pierced dillusional freaks who to date were responsible for so far giving this answer 6 thumbs down ratings *rollseyes*
