No honesty , lack of communication , no trust , wrong priority's , no values , not understanding what love is , or the importance of being friends first , Gavin enough time I could come up more but that should do..

I really believe that a cheating spouse is the major cause, but if you look deeper, and ask the question what caused the spouse to start thinking about cheating, most likely it is the loss of lust in the relationship. It appears that everything we do in some way revolves around sex. My thoughts and I'm sure some will disagree, so take you pick, Supermom.

Lack of commitment. You either choose to want to be together or you don't. If from the beginning you choose to be together (or at least after some time), the chances of it actually working out are much higher. Nowadays people see every little difference/disagreemnt as something that makes the relationship impossible. Or then they are looking for that constant kick of infatuation or beeing in love.
Love is when you can accept each other as you are, and you need commitment for that. From both sides, obviously.

I think a lot of people just expect relationships to always be like it is in the beginning and when reality hits them,they get bored or can't handle it.
