I saw this report in CNN and I understand there is a reason for Americans to hate immigrants.
The few UNEDUCATED americans are being forced to compete with immigrants for low wage jobs, and immigrants have the advantage because of their background, they are used to work hard in their original land, the Uneducated Americans are not.
Uneducated Americans are mostly welfare or some other kind of government dependent, and they have to fight for their share with some legal immigrants.
Because immigrants are usually better workers than poor uneducated Americans, immigrants get promoted more often then Americans.
I see there is a discontent against immigrants, and some how is justified. But it is our own system that makes you lazy, and about school there is not excuse. there is plenty of oportunities to get an education. And if everything fail, JUST GET A GOVERNMENT JOB they will take anybody as long as you are legal.
In conclussion= Work hard, study hard and blame yourse

Funny! Those "uneducated Americans" you speak of speak English...Americans Love Immigrants...DESPISE Illegal criminals! Since you align yourself with the latter, don't be surprised at the negative reaction that you receive. CNN! Wow! Ever try a book?
Talk about lazy? Buy a mirror ...and Spell Check!

the difference between an illegal working & an American on welfare working is the American loses their medical, and in some cases food stamps & HUD housing.....an American cannot afford to work for the same wages as an illegal! I don't know where you are from but most Americans are not lazy and you should be ashamed to say so! Everyone says get an education - have you been in a school lately - they are teaching to the mentality of an illegal - basics, wash your hands, use the toilet not a tree and on & on... I am retired & have enough to live for many years so getting a job is not an issue with me. Obviously you haven't done any research or you would know after our government breaks everyone that makes $100,000 (or less) per year the agenda is to move on to those that make $200,000 per year....why should middle-class Americans have to support both the illegals & Americans?
I was in management & worked union people for 37 years - you are absolutely wrong when you say immigrants work harder! Boy, you have been brainwashed!

I do not understand your premise. There is NO reason for Americans (you stated all Americans) to HATE (there are few valid reasons to hate) immigrants. The US is a country of immigrants except for the Native Americans. Where do you think you came from?
I resent any reason for hatred towards a first generation American. Period.
Where do you have statistics that MOST Uneducated Americans are welfare dependent?
I am sorry but this diatribe alone does warrant an apology and for that I accept.

OK my little friend... I am American born Citizen- My father was shot and killed when I was a young girl, so I grew up with only one parent. I worked my way through college, I didn't qualify for a scholarship even though I made excellent grades.. I do have a college degree that I worked extremely hard for... I had a great job made good money.. didn't want for anything... I got laid off when my company shut down.. I have now been out of work for 4 months... finding a job isn't as easy as it would seem to be, even with a college degree... now a days everything says must be bilingual or bilingual required or even if they don't say it they hire bilingual people over people like me that only speak English... every time I fill out an application there is this EOE thing that says it's optional however is still attached to your application.. that asks your race and sex-I've tried applying for Government jobs they aren't hiring apparently.. so no it has nothing to do with trying to get jobs or uneducated Americans.. I worked really hard my whole life-working and in school and I'm still jobless and it is a lot harder out there to get jobs than it use to be-so before you start cracking on uneducated Americans not working, and it's their own fault.. I hope you don't find yourself in this same situation...It has nothing to do with legal or illegal immigrants.. it has to do with the job market

If an illegal takes one job away from one citizen that's one too many. Not all citizens have the opportunity to go to college. It isn't free or cheap for us. That's a privilege reserved for illegals in many cases. You also can not say that all illegals are better workers than all citizens unless you are god-like and know everyone. Even if there were some truth in it they are not entitled to our jobs or anything else here. No excuses and no propaganda about how good these people are will change that. And you know as well as I do that illegals are hired over citizens so that employers can make higher profits. Not because we won't do the work. You know this.

The fact that uneducated Americans have to compete with foreigners who are in this country through illegal means is pathetic. The fact that for a minute as an American citizen(you are one aren't you?) you would be more concerned about the welfare of common criminals rather than your neighbor down the street here legally making minimum wage, defies any logic I could possibly assign to it. Maybe you can explain- when you decided the poor of America weren't worth helping- that they deserved to have their livelihood stolen by trespassers.
I agree completely with manifesting one's own destiny with choices made individually. We are all responsible individually for the choices we make- that includes those aliens crossing the border illegally making the choice to break the law.
You should be so lucky to have all those illegal aliens you so staunchly support- move into your neighborhood and steal your social security number.
OOH- This almost made me stuttering mad

Ignorance is bliss on your part. A few uneducated Americans is what you think...Lmao. Dude we the American people don't give a **** about Immigrants. They are Legal and therefore do everything an average American does. What the problem is are the illegal immigrants. Everyone pays for them including you.
I am glad you like the fact that your hard earned paid taxes are paying for illegal immigrants to be here. I think time will change your attitude. We shall see.

I could get into what immigration- legal and illegal is doing to our law enforcement and medical practices and how it drains those systems- but that is another story-there are hard workers and there are slackers- and they are in all races and creeds- and there are the parasites in society that take out and put nothing in-D

Sorry, coz you still don't get it!! You will though.....you're time is comming. Educated people are unemployed and looking for work as well. Laid off people from closed factories are looking for work. Kids are looking for work. Moms that need to suppliment an income or older Americans who have had their taxes go up while their benefits are quickly going away are looking for work. People are looking for work because hours have been cut and they need a second job. Immigrants are not better workers in the instances I've seen. The quality isn't close in many cases. Fast doesn't equal good. My father has worked with them, I have worked with them, my husband is now and beleive me....they aren't busting a hump any harder than we did and are. Granted there are many difficult jobs they are doing. Jobs that USED to pay a decent wage till they came in and bid to do them cheaper. ESPECIALLY in the construction fields. Not everyone can afford or wants a formal education and the type of jobs those are. These citizens still have a right to live and work and not have to deal with massive amounts of illegals. These people that are citizens shouldn't be denied employment because they don't speak friggin Spanish. Educated or not! There's plenty of EDUCATED people out there driving cabs and working in warehouses because an education doesn't guarentee you top employment or more money. It definately increases your chances, but it doesn't GUARENTEE them. What are you going to do when there's tons of people with your education and skill level that want to come here and do your job for cheaper or they decide it's easier to outsource your "educated" job to India? There's only so many government jobs, only so many Wal-Mart greeters and burger flipping jobs and factory jobs. And it's not right to make our citizens have to fight against people who shouldn't even be here for those those jobs. I mean I truely wish you well. Just don't delude yourself to thinking that the decisions you make today, while planning for your future, guarentees success on down the road of life. It pans out for some, but not all ,and this "cheap labor" drive will hit you eventually. You are disposable just like the rest of us. Many of the top companies looking for the highly educated people say that even American college graduates aren't educated enough, even on BASIC skills ,and foreign workers are better.

Hmmm...
Roughly 50% of the US population are in (participate) in the US workforce (~152 million people)
4% to 5% of US population are illegal aliens
(lets take the larger estimate 15 million illegal aliens)
6% to 7% of US work force are illegal aliens
(let's take the lower estimate... about 9.1 million illegal alien workers)
So... 9/15, 3 out of 5, or 60% of illegal aliens are working.
Yet, 50% of US pop participates in the labor market... It seems illegal aliens strive for jobs better than the US average.
I bet that the stats for first generation legal residents are even better!
