If so, was it any good? Worth the money? and can you just walk in or do you have to book?
Sorry about so many questions, thanks for any help!

It is meant to be really good my mates went, it is best to book beforehand to beat ques. They give you a massive coat and gloves on entry and all the glasses are pure ice. you can only stay for I think it was 50mins or something like that! Drinks are pretty expensive and its all vodka based!

I went not long after it opened (about this time last year) and it was ok - worth the experience I think but it is quite expensive for the 45 minutes you have. It also takes a while for everyone to get their cloaks and walk in so we ended up having about 30 minutes as we were at the back. The first drink is included and is surprisingly nice and thick (as anyone who has frozen vodka would know) there is a reasonable choice of different flavours - I had a berry one.
The seats/bar/walls are made of ice and they have some ice sculptures in there. The glass is also made of ice but it doesn't melt enough in the time you are there to worry about. it's quite nice the way it kind of melts to fit your mouth. :-)

Booking is not essential but it does fill up so it would be a pain to turn up and not get in!

Price is £15 thur/fri/sat and £12 at other times - drink refill is £6 but none of us got round to a refill.

A group of my friends went. They give you huge silver coats and gloves to wear (bit like Thermals). Book if you want to beat the queues, but the visiting time limit is 45 mins. All drinks are served out of glasses made of ice.

No, you have to book and you're only allowed to stay a certain amount of time (but by all accounts it's expensive enough that you wouldn't want to stay too long!!)

Planning some sort of Xmas mission there, but haven't been yet

Hi yes - Ive been twice - when it launched and last night where we hired it for a xmas party.

I'd definitely recommend booking - it can be really busy and will be packed especially at this time of year. check out their site:

I haven't been to the Ice Bar but my boyfriend and his friend went to go and take photo's of it the day before it opened. I would love to go there but apparently is quite expensive to get in...and my hands are feet are permanently cold so I think they might fall off if i go there!
