My mouth hurts-it feels like a pair of pliers are squeezing...!?

I really wasn't in pain until, the densist said that I had a few cavities. I had 2 fillings put in on two teeth (resin type-same color as my teeth)and It's been like a month now since. My teeth feel bigger I guess from the extra layers on it but during the day and night, I'm in sooo much pain...Feels like a pair of pliers are squeezing that area in my gums and trying to pop my tooth out...it's killing me! What can be the cause?

Go Back to the dentist, it sounds like the filling is too high for your bite to cope with.
