In the last question I asked many answerers suggested that god had more important things to do than to answer the prayers of Junior High students. So is the universe getting out of hand for god? Do we need to get a new one? Is a no confidence vote is in order?
I gotta tell you, I don’t think god is going to get very good marks on his next performance review.

There are many problems with anthropomorphizing deity. You've hit one of the nails on the head.

God cannot grant everyone's requests. If I pray for my team to win and you pray for the other team, only one team can win. I don't think God would intervene anyway, but that is just an example. The best anyone can do is to honor God by using the gifts he gave you to the best of your ability.
