yes, I think we all have regrets.. some just won't admit that deep inside they wish they had never done something or other that lies in their past..

I try to live my life without regrets. Before making any decision, I look at how I believe I will feel afterward. If I am not sure I will be happy with that decision, I go in a different direction.

The biggest regret that I used to have was that I let go of a girl that I adored for a girl that was really smart. The smart girl dumped me because I did not have enough money for her. The girl that I adored got married to someone else. Years later I married a wonderful girl and when I finally looked at it I realized that she is just like the girl I adored.

I no longer regret letting her go, since I found a girl just as wonderful and the girl from my past has her life with her husband and children.

Take care,
Troy

So why did you dump him? He sounds like an awesome boyfriend, and you have strong feelings for him, if your still not getting over him. He must really care for you too, being as sweet, and un-revengeful at you dumping him. Maybe you could give it another go? Just because you dumped him, doesnt mean you can never make up and be together again. We all make wrong decisions in life, but dont let it pull you down. Get that Boy Back, and live the love you both want.

Yes I wish I had travelled the world instead of settling down so very young. I don't regret my kids, just wish I had been older. Now I'm in my fifties I still love life, but the advice I would give is, life goes past so quickly so live every minute to the full. I love people, and meeting people from different countries and cultures. Life is for living so go for it and enjoy every minute. Don't look back always forward.

Yes. I had my horse put down because even though she had cancer of the throat I thought that Dave would come back to me when he found out...he didnt and although she would not have survived, I still feel guilty 13 years later.... I feel regret that I treated Mike my ex-boyfriend badly, yet we are still best of friends 26 years later! I wish I had told my mum.dad and brother how much I loved them..I am sure they knew, but I wish I had uttered the words.....

I think we all regret things at some point in our lives. BUT you shouldn't carry regret with you all the time.... regret for a moment, then learn from your mistake. If you can make amends do it quickly if not let it go. DON'T hold on to it.

I never have any regrets, just curiosities about what might of been. Just let life be, what can you do in the end other than what you've done? Well I'm deterministic, everything has to happen for reason, I didn't chose to be here in this life, let alone be responsible fro my mistakes.

Have no regrets. You cannot go back in time. You left him for a reason and the reason was valid.
Remember this phrase: Some people have one foot in the past and one foot in the future, pissing on today.

Yes. Anyone who has no regrets has never really lived, or at least has never thought about his/her life very much.

We all regret things in our life whether we admit it or not.
It's just a part of life.

But all we can do is experience and learn from it to create a better future for ourselves.
