I have seen these really cool wedding photo albums where the pages are VERY thick and the pictures are printed right on to the page. They are like coffee table books. And they have no plastic sleeves that hold the pictures. On some of the pages there will be one large picture on the back of the page and then printed right over that is three of four more pictures that relate to the large picture. I have looked them up online and found some but it does not look like the ones that I have seen in person. Cause the ones that I see on line have adhesive that you stick your pictures to. But the one that I am looking for is the one that has the pictures printed right on to the page, no adhesive involved.

Does anyone know a website I can order this off of, or the name of this type of album?

The pictures are not printed on nice paper. They are printed on paper that is REALLY THICK. Like each page is about a 1/4 of an inch thick. And I know that you can get them online, and they are like $500. And my photographer wants to charge like $1000 for it. But my photographer is giving me a copy right cd to all my pics and I can get send the picts to a company and they can make if for me for half the price. If I can find a company.

Thanks for your help.

They are called storybook albums. I think you can only order them from your photographer. That is where we are getting ours from. But, I am not 100% percent sure. I would research storybook wedding albums on the computer and see what comes up. I hope that I helped you out.

The books are very nice. AND very pricy. 1000 is actualy a good price and Ill tell you why.....

You will have the CD and I wont go into wether or not you can use the images, thats between you and the photog... BUT make sure the images are of a good size not just image view size. You will want to make sure the enlargements are not going to be grainy.

The main issue is set up. You will have to make all the decisions. In a book of about 20 pages you can have up to 100 decisions to make. What pictures go where, what layouts, etc.

You will want to go to a professional printer, not some walmart or such. I do not know where you are located but I will tell you who I use.

iMemoryBook might be able to help you. I know that their standard is 28lbs acid free paper, made for great memory books, but if you called them (1888 FAM LEARN), they are new and more flexible than most companies. Just tell them you are willing to pay extra to get what you want done.

iMemoryBook can do a lot more than just a photo album. I was trying to decide what to give my roommate for his wedding present. After seeing iMemoryBook I came up with a great idea. I convinced Derek and Wendy to write "He said...She said" stories about the way they met and the way they got engaged. Then using iMemoryBook's invitation system I sent invitations to all of his family and friends, in Utah, and all of her family and friends, in California. Then I watched the book grow online. I was amazed at how smoothly this book grew with the iMemoryBook system. Over 70 people got online, viewed and contributed to the book. The final book had over 200 photos, 75 entries(memories), and 100+ pages, iMemoryBook has helped me create something I wouldn't have even imagined possible.

You might want to create an traditional iMemoryBook on top of what you are already doing?

It's called a FLUSH MOUNT wedding album.
They are expensive because they actually print you photograph like they would a children's book.
Search "Flush mount"
And I know I have seen Faux ones on eBay- they are like a giant sticker and you basically peel it and stick your photos to it- to try and get the same look.

I went through the same thing and I found out the photographer is actually cheaper because they make the minuims by doing several books a year- it's will cost you over $1,200 to have one done yourself.

That sounds like a wedding photo proof. My friend’s proof book looked very nice like that. It had a glossy, almost velum type paper and the backgrounds for the pages were enlarged photos and the photos were printed right on the paper. You get that from your photographer.
