which pug is better?

which is better? black or fawn? male or female? i am looking into buying a pug and im not completely sure what type i want. any input would be nice! thanks!

If you get to pick from the litter, why not choose the one that most appeals to you then - rather than making any decisions now as you're not completely sure what you do want.

I think the advice is not to choose the one who charges straight out at you & nibbles at your fingers (he or she is likely to grow into a dominant or alpha dog & might be a handful). They also say to avoid the little one who hangs back all shy - this one may be nervous & nervous dogs can get agressive.

Instead, if you can, spend a little time with all the puppies & chose the one who susses you out a little before charging up to lick you all over. You'll know which one that is, it'll be the little one who accidentally steals your heart when you're not looking.

I do pug rescue and have had fawn and black pugs. The only difference I have seen is that black pugs usually shed less. Fawn pugs usually shed more although there is some variation in their shedding too. Any pug is wonderful as far as personality goes. They are people dogs and want to be with you all the time. They also can have a pretty tremendous snore although my boy pug doesn't snore very bad at all. PUGS RULE!

I personally like fawn pugs, just since they aren't a solid color. I think you will be happy with any one you pick. Pugs are very happy, silly little dogs who can be quite fun!

it doesnt matter wht color the pug is but for the gender i would reccomend a female (but get it fixed if u dont want pups) b/c males r more territorial and r more willin to fight w/other dogs.

black would be better because they are cuter and male because if you dont get the female spayed their will be blood all over you house
