I use Herbal Essenses Dangerously Straight and it works great. A good trick to get shiny hair is to first rinse your hair with very warm water to get rid of all residue, followed by the coldest water you can stand. Cold water makes the hair cuticle lie flat and will reflect more light; hence shinier hair.

I'm not quite sure what's in Frizz Ease, but I use a liquid silk serum and it makes my hair extremely shiny. (Sorry if that's what Frizz Ease is, just thought I'd mention it)

As for static-y hair, a trick a hairdresser taught me was to lightly swipe a dryer sheet meant to get rid of static over finished hair. Oughta do the trick.

The frizz is from the straightener. It causes your hair to become dry, which is a cause of frizz. Just go into the walmart shampoo isle and there will be something for you there. Also in that isle, you will find a shampoo that will get you shiney hair...it will say on the bottles. ^_^ good luck!

nexxus therappe and humectress are a shampoo and conditioner that moisturize very well. When I get out of the shower i usually put biosilk in my hair when it when it is soaking wet. Then when I blow-dry it I use VO5 heat protecting spray. Then i put a little more biosilk in it after i straighten it. Um are you blowdrying it with a brush? if so what kind? the best kind to use while blowdrying it is a round ceramic brush....the pigs hair and the metal brushes often cause frizziness as well.......well i hope i helped

I would recommend Biolage shampoo/conditioner for frizzy or thick hair. This will weigh down the frizziness. I wouldn't buy anything from the store, I would get it from a salon...this is based only on my experience when working with hair. Ask any stylist when you go to the salon to get the shampoo/cond./other gels/serums and they will be able to help too. Hope this helps....good luck!!

Well the answer is simple...
go to the closest laundry department find the best smelling dryer sheet possible and you just rub it right on your hair.
The static goes right away.
True story...

maybe youve got a pretty screwed up straightner. dont get cheap ones cause those only damage your hair even more. i would recomend the CHI straightners. theres one for 150 dollars. yes that might seem like a lot but trust me, its worth it!
