if you truly stick to eating healthy, and do the gym 4 times a week, expect to lose about 2lbs a week. so in 20 weeks ( a little over 2 months) you would have lost 20lbs! so you can do it!~ I feel your pain! I too am 21 5'10 but overweight by 20lbs (won't say the weight :P) but I also want to start the year off right! since next week is my Break from school for about a month, I'm going to devout my time to exercising and trying to eat healthier, that way after my x-mas break I can go back to school being skinnier and feeling better about myself! I hate looking in the mirror at my stomach anymore, and I use to be skinney, so it's killing me seeing myself like this! so from girl to girl..I know where you're coming from.

Hopefully we can both dedicate ourselves to getting fit!
good luck to ya....>

Diet is the key. Without that you can never lose fat and keep it off.

Two very important things

1) Make eating healthy you new way of life, not something you'll do for two or three months

2) Set specific goals (weight in your case) for specific timelines

This combined with a sensible workout plan, you;ll be lsoing the extra weight in no time
