There are about 500 languages spoken in Nigeria today. This means that even if someboy would speak one of them, probably will not be the one you are looking for.

I have checked in Nigerian translation engines and neither word comes up, not in Igbo,Yoruba, Hausa or Pidgin. Are you sure they were not pet names?
