Why in Islam do we have to obey god's commands the prophet's or else we go to hell?

Question

why does Islam only thinks that Islam is the only way to heaven and the only right way? Why can't it allow people to believe what they wish instead of penalizing those who don't obey. Let them live their lives!!

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

I think that Muslims believe that if any person believes in God, and does 'righteous deeds' they can get into heaven. Look on here, it's the christians telling everybody they are going to hell for not believing in what they believe. I've never been told by a muslim i am going to hell for not accepting Jesus as my savior.

first of All every one if free to chose whtever he/she wants and you can see that christainity is the largest religion in this world this time.

But yes islam is the only right way that is what we believe being a muslim...............as for your opinion ...Allah loves you soo much and don't want you to burn in hell thats why tells you to be on right path always .........No??/

İf you breaks the law you will go to jail,
if you don't want to go jail, you must obey the law.

you are free to chose hell or heaven, if don't want to go hell
you must obey what your creator order to you,

Every religion believes it's way is the only way to heaven so why are you only addressing this to Muslims?
And no one is forced to be a Muslim.It's a personal choice.
