And it won't be Junior. He may win races here and there but since Senior died, Junior and the entire D.E.I. organization has started to collapse. At the rate Junior is going, he won't ever win a cup. Truex will be a great driver with a little experience but he needs to get away from D.E.I.

Junior got lucky and made the chase in 2006, other than that, what has he done since senior passed?

I am fairly new to racing but I think Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart are great and have a really good shot! BUT I really like Jimmy Johnson I'd like to see him repeat

While I'd love to see Jimmie (The Man) Johnson repeat next year, there are some serious flaws in this team. Kane will probly make a run, but unless he can lower his DNFs he won't win. 2006 Rookie of the Year, Denny Hamlin, will also be in the mix but I think he will experience a small sophmore slump during the year. Also be on the lookout for Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and maybe even Greg Biffle, but....
2007 Nextel Cup Champion: Tony Stewart. If not for having a bad start to the year, (Some his fault, but mostly bad luck.) and getting injured later in the year, the Fuzzy Teddy Bear would have made the chase and might have repeated. This year a slimmer, sleeker Stewart will win his 3rd Nascar Championship.

You know you are so right dei is going to hell in a hand basket and you are so right about him getting lucky and getting into the chase and Truex is a good driver but like you said he has to get away from dei you see that mikey got the hell away when dei told him that is to help jr and block for him he is not to win but i am glad that he got away like i have been saying that if jr would have come through the ranks like everyone else did he would not be as popluar as he is he has all of his daddy's fans and nascar allows him to get away with alot of stuff that the rest of the driver cant you know thats why kerry earnhardt refuses to drive for dei he told me that he wants to make his own way not in the footsteps of his so called father and i take my hat off to him for that jr is'nt sh** and he will never be champ until he learns how to act like one take a good look at jeff gordon the 4 time champ and still doing the damn thing and please dont be surprised when he gets his 5th championship it is coming every time he get a new crew chief he gets a championship watch what i tell you it is coming and jr will be left in the dust again

What a load of crap question! I mean rant. You obviously have no respect for NASCAR. Check your facts first if all you're going to do is rant, at least back it up with something of merit. Junior will win a cup, and next year is looking good for him and DEI. The jealousy that seeps out of your pores is hilarious.

Ok R.D (Random Dikhead)

Since Jr.'s father so early and tragically passed away in 2001 this is what he's done: 8th in points in 2001, 11th in 02, 3rd in 03, won the Daytona 500, became the first driver to sweep the weekend at Bristol, survived a life threatening accident, 5th in points in 04 with 6 wins that year, won 2 owner's championships, owned Talladega with 5 wins, 5th in points this year. To sum it all up, he's done quite well for himself. And all of this is after he lost his idol, his father, at an all too early age. And for you to disrespect this man only speaks volumes as to the type of man you are.

Jacob M ? How much crack have you been smoking? You think Casey Mears and Clint Bowyer will make the chase? How about them finishing in the top 10 or top20 first!

Kasey Kahne!

Ok, I truly don't expect him to win, but I'm a huge Kasey fan.

I expect Stewart and Hamlin to be strong contenders along with Jimmy Johnson.

I'm missing some obvious contenders, but those are the ones that come to mind immediately.

How dare you not tell us not to say Jr. You asked us for OUR opinion! I say it will be Jr! He was close this year! If it wasn't for the Dega mishap, he would of had it. Truex is a very good driver and he will stay with DEI. Jr. is hungry for the championship and it will be his. When he wins it, you can hang your head in shame! You obviously ain't a Jr fan and if you are, you have no FAITH!
