Why are so many religions against Homosexuality even thou it exists in 1500 other animal species?

What is your point- Homosexuality is banned for humans, thus the whole male and female concept. You are not an animal, but yet are reducing your standards to being one. Human beings are created with a soul, humans are going to heaven not animals. Who cares what ANIMALS DO< they are animals, that alone should tell you something, so are you saying all gays have the mentality of animals?After all you are comparing gays to animals.

There may be many things that we will have a hard time understanding in imperfection. The question is really....would homosexuality be part of the Creator's original purpose? Things got fouled up rather quickly by people other than God......but we do have a short record of perfect human history and the account of what God created.......so what was created for the first human male to have sex with? A female woman.

Wow, I'm gettin' all sorts 'o learnin's on this question. People aren't animals? How interesting... The Ten commandments say something about homosexuality? I must have missed that part.

And the point is that you can't say homosexuality isn't natural when it's all over nature. Something might not be pretty, but it's still natural. So, they aren't saying a cat licking it's butt is great and that we should do it, but it IS natural.

But seriously, to answer your question, I think religions are against people who are different. Gay people are something different, blacks are something different, and so on. The mormons used to say blacks are not allowed to be leaders in the church. The bigotry goes on and on in different religions.

Hopefully one day everyone will wake up and realize that gay people are, in reality, no different from anyone else other than what they do in their bedroom (which is really no one's business anyway). Also, I believe that it can't be abnormal to be gay when there are so many people who are gay!

all the living breathing creatures in the planet are animals but our species is the smartest thats why we call others animals.thats why we look at it the worng way.people just asume that homosexuality is bad but no one really knows they are getting their facts from a book that someone along time ago wrote.the truth is no one really knows they just like to point and judge.cause they dont like to see anyone else happy but them selves but the truth is they dont live their lifes and they dont let other people live their lifes.

Read your bible. Every time homosexuality is discussed in the bible it is condemned. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for it. Read Romans 1:24-27
