LCD, Plasma or DLP?

LCD has gotten better, but there is still a slight "ghosting" or image delay, esp. when watching sports. Look for a set with a very low refresh rate.

Plasma has improved on the old problem of burn-in, but still loses about half it's brightness in 5-7 years, rendering your great new set almost unwatchable.

DLP is a system that uses a single lamp that will also require replacement every few years, but at under $200 bucks and dropping, is a much cheaper alternative to replacing a Plasma or LCD set.

Go for the DLP!

My DLP is 4 years old and I havent replaced the bulb yet. Go DLP or projector, depending on your application.
