Of course brain tumors can kill.
That doesn't mean that the one your family member has will kill her, though. Flu can kill you, but it rarely actually does.
You have to listen to what the doctor says about what kind of tumor it is, what the treatment options are, etc, and not let yourself freak out over speculation. Don't ask about what "a" brain tumor can do, ask about what "her" brain tumor will do--and direct the questions to the doctor.

The bad news is that yes, a brain tumor can kill someone. I had a neighbor who had horrible headaches and double vision. Finally she went to the doctor, but it was too late to operate. She died from it.
On the other hand, many times radiation or surgery can save the person. There's a book called I Had Brain Surgery, What's Your Excuse? It's about a woman recovering from brain surgery and the difficulties she had getting back to normal.

I think that the powers that be ignore the fact that alcohol causes car crashes, belligerent behavior, blackouts, and countless other catastrophes. However, they don't care about the benefits of marijuana,no matter how great. I don't know ANYONE who crashed, acted up, went into a blackout, or even started a fight while smoking. I truly believe that there would be NO MORE WAR if the heads of states all lit up a fatty. After all, why do you think Native Americans called it a peace pipe? Thanx for the much useful info. I'd like to email this to some people!

Not always, it is a serious thing but some people can fight back. Depending on the size and where it is located they can sometimes remove it (all or part) I hope your family memeber is ok. Here is a link that gives A LOT of info on it. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts:)

They can, but if she fights hard and keeps a positive attitude she can do it. I think attitude has a lot to do with survival. Help keep this person upbeat.
