Exercise has always helped me - a brisk walk, some Tae-Bo or even some yoga. Whatever gets my blood pumping and clears my head. If that doens't work, I just sit in a quiet room and do some deep breathing. Pure silence is the best thing in the world sometimes. I used to take Xanax, which did help, but I knew I needed to find a more permanent cure. I don't want to rely on drugs for my mental health.

Well the way I deal with stress and anxiety is by listening to soothing music, squeezing a rubber(not really but it helps), doing a hobby that takes my mind off of the stress such as playing guitar or drawing. I wouldn't suggest you pop pills cause they don't do much and they give side effects.

Try and reduce the parts of your life that are causing stress. If that's not possible, you can try and include an exercise program. Sometimes that helps.
For anxiety, deep breathing and muscle relaxation. If that doesn't work, you can always get anxiety medications; doctors love to prescribe Xanax for some reason.

Take breaks during the day, and count your blessings...unless your arm's being chewed off by a wild dog, there's nothing really worth getting worried about. Sure, the giant asteroid is coming in 2029 to kill off the human race, but there's not a thing that you can do about that, so may as well have some pizza while they're still serving etc.

Regular exercise, yoga, deep breathing, meditation, a healthy diet, fresh air, and sometimes talking to a therapist. Oh, and Klonopin!

Get help right away. I first went to a therapist, who recommended that I see a psychiatrist for meds. I am taking effexor and klonopin, and I am a entirely new person. Good luck to you.

Diversion. Put your attentions on something useful. Take a hot bath. Listen to calming music. Get enough sleep. Tackle whatever problem is bothering you and eliminate it.

if you think about things that make you happy: mom, a boyfriend, a friend, a special place, a time in life when you were happy, anything! just think about that, and you will probably feel better.

also, excersizing is a good idea. excersizing lets out endorphins, and endorphins make you happy!

and normally, happy poeple arent stressed out. good luck ! :]
