Glad to see that you are interested in learning about Hinduism.

Since according to Hinduism there is only one supreme being / God, everything cannot be God. However, everything is a manifestation of God. Each and every person / creature has a body and a soul. It is only the body that "dies". Not the soul (atman).

Atman is that eternal core of the personality that survives death and transmigrates to a new life or is released from the bonds of existence. there is only ONE Soul (i.e. Brahman / God) in the universe. This soul manifests as different individual souls. It is also interpreted as the “Main Essence” of man, as his Highest Self. “A” in this word is a negative particle. “Tma” means “darkness”. The word “tamas” — “ignorance”, “spiritual darkness” — has the same root. Therefore “A-tma” or “Atman” means “opposite to darkness”, “shining”.

In essence, Atman is the best, the Divine part of everyone’s multidimensional organism.

If u are aware then Brahman represents God for Hindus. Hindus believe in an all-pervasive Supreme Being (Brahman) who is both immanent and transcedent, both Creator and Unmanifest reality. The supreme reality becomes manifest in various aspects and forms, and is known by various names. There are various ways by which individuals, in accordance with his/her temperament can realize God.

Brahman=Atman=Brahman
Brahman is the totality of the universe as it is present outside of you;Atman is the totality of the universe as it is present within you; Brahman is the totality of the world known objectively, Atman is the totality of the world known subjectively.

Hindus believe that believe that all souls are evolving towards union with God and will ultimately find moksha: spiritual knowledge and liberation from cycle of rebirth. Not a single soul will be eternally deprived of this destiny.

Hope it helped to clear your doubts. Mail me if u have any further questions.

You totally do not understand at all. You need to do more research.

Hinduism is something like my belief in the nature of the gods. Everything is made up of energy. Even matter. Therefore, we're all part of that energy. Which, by that definition, would mean that we are all a part of the gods (or god in the case of Hinduism).

So, when you die, your energy simply changes form to join the rest of the energy in existance.

Honestly, just think about it a little. Just because Christianity says that their god is a separate being from everyone else, doesn't mean that other religions say the same.

They posit the notion that the body/form dies but not the Atman (the soul, the spirit) which takes on different forms until it progresses spiritually to the point where no more incarnations are necessary and they merge with the Brahman (or God). It gets confusing to me because Atman is in everything but also maintains an individuality that reincarnates. Buddhism, by the way, sought to counter the abuse of the reincarnation concept by teaching Rebirth which relies on the buddhist teaching of no ego/self either in this life or at any time. Far from being nihilistic, this is used to convey the non-dualistic nature of what we are -- but I'm digressing.

No, no no! They believe everything to be sacred. If you think about it, God is everything, because "he" created everything. He gave us the gift of creativity - creating us in his image - so we're potentially Godly. think of God as love - a divine force/light. They believe that you go through many lives & when you carry out your divine purpose, you'll reach Nirvana - our version of Heaven. Shiva - the Lord of the Dance, is supreme reality.

You assume that death is the end. A death of something becomes the beginning of something else. That is how God is eternal.

Their life returns to the source just as the body returns to the earth.
