Typically 14-18 g/dl for males and 12-16 for females. Note that these are only reference values, which are based on the avg. values of a given # of healthy patients. But what is "normal" for any given person actually depends upon the individual, since no universally standard value has been established. Reference values also vary from lab to lab, this just happens to be ours.

hemoglobin value of a normal person is for females is 120-140 g, and for an average healthy male, the normal range is 140-160g . for the hematocrit value, the normal range for the female is 12.0-14.0 and for the males is 14.0-16.0. more than those ranges may suggest polycythemia vera. lower than those ranges may or may not suggest anemia, depending on the case.
