It is beyond offensive. It is sheer blasphemy, and all will answer to God for such horrible statement. God created them and loves to save Him, yet they mock Him still, just like upon the cross. they will be held accountible as they are only putting more nails into Jesus with every act of sin and blasphemy. Wasnt His death enough. But, they cant repend before they die or Jesus comes and change their destiny. That all is choice. By the way, Santa is offense, its only satan with tranposition of letters, he gets the credit for the gifts, and not God. Santa the focus, not Jesus. Easter funny and all that, all pagan stuff and has no place in Christianity. read on for yourself. Its eye opening. Study for yourself. Santa cant save you, nor can the easter bunny, but who you choose to believe in is your choice. God forces noone. But, all choose their own destiny by who they do choose... choose wisely.

The myth of Santa Claus is based on a real man, Nickolaus, who was a bishop. His love for Christ caused him to be very giving. He gave so much of his resources, in such an unselfish way, that a legend grew up around him. The current Santa story is nothing like the man. The people who compare that story to God have been influenced by seeing immature Christians demand things from God. God does not play Santa.

It may be offensive to you.....but maybe people claiming that god is real without evidence is offensive to me.
We are all entitled to our opinions, I can understand why you get angry when people make valid points that complete mock your belief but its the truth.
You claim that, "santa claus is an imaginary character created for children"
Wel I claim that, "god is an imaginary character created for gullible people"
Can you prove me wrong? I can't prove you wrong, even though theres more evidence against your claim than mine.

I don't think that's offensive.It's their view and belief.
How can another persons ignorance and lack of knowledge offend me?It can only if I allow it.
I feel sad for them because they haven't had the opportunity to get to know Jesus and I'll pray they will see how wrong they were in the future.
I forgive them, love them and pray for them but I don't take offense.Like I would do with a child who said a bad word without understanding it.

No, it's just people expressing their belief that neither is real. That post you're referring to was perfectly polite and well-expressed. It was also his sincere opinion regarding the question that was asked, not something he just said out of the blue to insult or offend.
People are allowed to have different opinions and beliefs. Just because someone doesn't think what you do, and says so, doesn't hurt you in any way, and doesn't infringe on your right to believe what you want.

I'm not offended because I know! I enjoyed Santa when I was a kid. It gives the kids something good to look forward too. Now to those that are less fortunate...It's not good to them. That's why I believe that the children need to understand the truth.

Santa Claus is a Saint and kids ask him for things like he is god. I don't like that. I'm a Christian and I don't pray to no saint. I pray to Jesus for help and comfort. Parents should be teaching their kids that to. Santa Claus is the devil.

God can't be compared to anyone, not even Santa Claus. He is too great.

Why be offended? Both are made up characters. One to make kids enjoy a holiday the other to fill the emptiness of peoples lives and so they don't have to take any responsability for their own actions.
