And Yes, recently I have read an article on mixing diet drinks with alcohol compared to mixing with regular soda.
Diet soda mixers do give you a faster buzz because there is an ingredient in a diet drink that gets into your bloodstream faster than a regular soda. So, you feel the alcohol effects a little bit faster.
And another thing.... you don't get drunk faster by using a straw, why does everyone believe that myth???

No. On the contrary, using a soda with a lot of sugar gets you the buzz quicker.

Your body is like the bouncer to your blood stream. It does whatever it can to filter out all negative aspects from getting in. And if your body is the bouncer, sugar is the gorgeous babe that lures the bouncer away, and lets all the wild people in. By that I mean that sugar absorbs the alcohol and transports it to the blood stream faster than without it. It kind of works like a chain reaction. You consume alcohol with a sugary soda, the sugar soaks up the alsohol, and your blood stream absorbs the sugar.

Doing this on an empty stomach REALLY jump starts the buzz process too.

Never heard of that especially is you mix alcohol with a sugared soft drink that will promote the buzz a lot faster because of the sugar content.

Yes, the artificial sweetener reacts with your body to get you drunk faster and it makes the buzz last longer too. There was recently a study done in Australia that "proved" these results.

Read the ingredients do you see the PHEN in bold or the aspartame. I recommend you stop drinking diet products and never put anything in your body again if it said diet. Would you rather be thick or have cancer, kidney failure when your 50 yrs on dialysis?
Good Luck to you
